Good bus links to Truro and Newquay from main road.
Staff were very helpful.

Negativ Limited shower facilities and no water hot or otherwise if more than one shower in operation. No water pressure.

Positiv Plenty of space to spread out. Free choice of pitch. Good access to coast path. Toilets and showers basic but reasonably clean.

Negativ Poor signage to find site. Unclear what to do on arrival especially as it was really busy with a track day. Basic facilities although they were reasonably clean. Shower only stayed in for 5 seconds before having to push the button which was annoying. Floor got wet and dirty in the shower and there was no mop to clean it up ready for the next person. The worst thing was the overflowing rubbish bins with piles of rubbish and ripped open bags all over the floor. Very unsightly and unhygienic. More bins are needed which close properly to stop birds and animals getting in. It’s a proper health hazard. Rubbish had blown across the site too. Over priced in my opinion for what was on offer especially without electric hook up. Doubtful I will return.

Positiv No communication from the site. I tried to reschedule 6 weeks before the booking date. No response to multiple emails and phone calls. Not too be trusted.

Positiv Lovely view (based on where you park on the field). Toilets and showers available 24/7. Lots of space (we went in October though).

Negativ A bar/cafe was advertised as part of the campsite, we had looked up the food offered beforehand and were looking forward to getting takeaway to eat in the van. We arrived at 6pm, despite that the bar/cafe/office was closed (meant to be open but staff elsewhere I guess? This wasn't advertised online and we weren't made aware through the booking), so we couldn't check in, a guy came out of a nearby campervan and told us to come back and check in in the morning instead. So no food, we ate snacks in the van, due to no electric (which we were aware of, but that was ok before no food was offered) we couldn't use the kettle which limited more options. There was lots of space to park, we found a good view but it quite far away from the facilities, right by the facilities were some very loud residents (drum and bass into the night), no oversight by whatever staff there was for this. The ladies toilets were dated but clean, my partner used the men's and said they were filthy.

Negativ too windy, poor washing station which was smelly and unclean.

Had to leave and book another campsite because of windy conditions ( we understand this can’t be helped by staff)

Negativ Some of the roads to the campsite are a bit narrow in places

Positiv The staff were friendly, the process of arrival was easy, lots to do there, close to perranporth, historic, and the newer porta-cabin shower block was okay.

Negativ The older shower block/toilets were a bit run down/ in need of repair. However due to campsite being quite quiet it was fine as we didn't need to use them.
