Positiv The camping pod was perfect, cosy and clean, and great facilities. Comfy bed and handy mini fridge. The wifi is great and has good signal. Toilet block is large with clean facilities. Showers are a good temperature and plenty of changing space.

Negativ Nothing. Drinking water looked a bit odd but after asking reception, it just needs running for a bit.

Positiv Great facilities, lovely camping pod and the addition of a fridge was great. Really enjoyed the decking outside. Quiet site with respectful neighbours.
Great pot wash, dog wash and wetsuit wash. Flat pitches.
Great location.
Really friendly staff, couldn’t do enough to help if you needed it!
WiFi was a good addition when needed but it was a little slow which meant we took some much needed time away from our phones. :)
Hedges around the pitches helped with privacy.

Would maybe be helpful to have taps/spigots labelled as drinking water.

Negativ No communal kitchen, pricey laundry (7 pounds) with no detergent provided, barrier not working from time to time to get in

Positiv Very nice campsite, close to everywhere around the Newquay area. Toilets nice and clean, big showers. Nelly’s food shack on site - menu looked good (didn’t have a chance to sample though).

Everything was absolutely spotless and week maintained.
The toilet block and showers is super clean.
A stones throw from Fistral beach.
We would definitely return.

Positiv Everything.

A lovely peaceful site which is well maintained and was perfect for our stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeting with such a lovely warm welcome and all the information we needed.

The pitch was a perfect size for our twin axle tourer and full awning, perfectly level. The site itself was very well maintained and clean throughout. WiFi on the pitch was great, a first for us and kept the teenagers happy.

The facilities were clean and well decorated feeling very new. The laundrette and book swap was great.

The dog was in her element with a lovely enclosed field to run around in and even a dog wash for the end of the day after getting all sandy on the beach.

Everyone we met was lovely and it was nice and quiet in the evenings.

Negativ Nothing to dislike, we will definitely be back!

Positiv - beautiful site.
- really well maintained.
- huge hard standing pitches.
- accessible WiFi which was actually good.
- Nellys restaurant on site which was one of the best meals I have ever had! You need to book in advance. Surf and turf is to die for and such good value for money.
- really dog friendly. We have a dog that becomes anxious when other dogs approach but the site is clear that dogs need to be on a lead which was reassuring to us.
- secure dog exercise field which is also really well maintained.
- facilities are stunning!!!! Toilets and showers are immaculate.
- dog shower and great washing up facilities.
- laundry area with a communal freezer.
- great location, close to Newquay!
- lovely and quiet and peaceful.
- nice to be by the lake watching the fishermen and saw some great wildlife.
- owners were super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and even offered to take our rubbish for us as he was passing the bins. Went above and beyond! Also upgraded us to a lakeside pitch as it was quiet which was very kind of

Positiv Stopped at Gwinear Camping and honestly… there is absolutely nothing negative we can say about this place. It is stunning.

The setting is beautiful, peaceful and so well looked after. From the moment we arrived it just had that relaxing feel that makes you instantly know you’re going to enjoy your stay.

Pitches are spacious, everything is immaculate and the whole site feels calm and welcoming. You can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into it.

Facilities are excellent too — clean, modern and probably some of the best we’ve come across on our travels so far 👍 There’s also a laundry room… which I will definitely be making use of 😅

Negativ If I had to say something then it would be the shower temperature could be better
