We do have a welcome folder in our showerblock with suggestions of places to visit or eat at nearby.

Positiv Perfect quiet location. Stunning views. The hut had everything you could need, the owners have put a lot of thought into these nice little touches. The ice box in the fridge was an added bonus in the weather. The hut would be perfect all year round. The farm cats were a lovely addition watching them wander about and sunbath.

Vom Platzbetreiber: We have tried to make Sheep Fold shepherds hut and our Owl Hoot Pod homely yet practical. Our Glamping units are all suitable for year round stays as they all have heating and are well insulated. We have had people stay in our bowtop in February and say they were nice and cosy.
We have gravel pitches for motorhomes and our showerblock is heated with lovely warm water. We are open all year round even over Christmas and New Year.

Positiv the facilities where excellent. there was a box on the wall with some essentials in like marge and jam. the showers where included in the price and towels , shampoo etc. wher provided

Vom Platzbetreiber: Marg is not included in my honesty shed it was a box to keep matches dry that the label had fallen off!
I sell Jam, Smores kits when available, disposable barbecues and a few other items.
If anyone leaves shampoo or shower gel when they leave it is left for others to use if they want.
I do supply towels and bath mats and the showerblock is heated with warm showers all at no extra cost.

Vom Platzbetreiber: We try to help guests where we can offering our local knowledge if asked. When there is no cloud down to lower levels there are fabulous views of fells surrounding the Wasdale Valley with Harter Fell and Coniston Old Man in the distance.

Negativ In need of a bit of TLC - but owner explained mower currently broken.
Lots of cats around, very cute but our dog was not so keen!

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for your feedback. Personal circumstances mean the site has not had the usual lick of paint that we usually do in early spring. Yes my mower was broken and needed a part imported from Germany even though it is a British make. We are currently trying to bring the place back up to our usual standards, Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Positiv We loved staying on the farm, looking out over the fields to the cows & sheep, Meeting the farm cats.
Such a peaceful location, I slept better than I do at home.
There was everything we needed there, bedding, pillows & towels.
Heater, air fryer, toaster, little fridge & kettle plus plates and cutlery.

We would definitely stay again 💕

Positiv We went to sleep listening to the birds and woke listening to the birds , very peaceful and quiet, especially as there was only us and another van there .
Toilets & shower spotlessly clean .
Seascale beach 10 minutes drive away .

Negativ Nothing to dislike.
The whole area needs some TLC
The owner did explain the lawnmower was broke to us
