Ruhiger Campingplatz mit Wild-Camping-Atmosphäre an traumhaft-abgelegener Lage. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, die Anlagen (bes. warme Dusche & Portaloos) top sauber. Tolle Basis für Wanderungen und Dorfbesuche. Ein paar flache Stellplätze & keine Spülmöglichkeit, aber insgesamt sehr positiv, viele wollen wiederkommen.

Positiv Campsite is in a fantastic wild location, everyone was lovely and the nicest portaloos have ever used!! The shower was fab too. We even saw a whole host of wildlife while the site is surrounded by sheep, we had deer visitors and swallows diving everywhere, was great to sit and relax in nature even in the rain! We discovered great walks from here including up to Potter Tarn and Gurnal Dubs for wild swimming and it is near a fantastic chippy and gelato in Staveley, what more could you need!

Positiv A wonderful campsite with stunning setting and friendly owners. A last minute booking for us and the owners were very helpful when we had a little difficulty finding the site (completely our fault), they provided a wonderful hand drawn map which led us right to the gate from Stavely. Despite the late hour and then being on holiday they still ensured that we made it to the campsite, for which we were very grateful! I can't recommend this site enough!

Positiv Without doubt the nicest site we have ever stayed. Surrounded by beautiful views - simple, extremely clean facilities.
Water was supplied in big barrels so didn't need to buy bottled stuff. The village is a 20 minute walk with a nice pub, mini market and a great chippy.
Situated in the middle of an idyllic working farm - the owners have struck a perfect balance of warm, friendly and amenable - while letting people feel like they have the place to themselves. It couldn't have been better - had a bit of magic and personality about it that we haven't found in a campsite before.

Positiv Super friendly and present owners. Nice site, decent facilities (very clear what you are getting, and meets this well. Lovely surrounding area and views. Nice hot power shower, decent portaloos. Very dog friendly.
Negativ A little hard to find a flat pitch (but we did get there reasonably late!).
