A aimé Beautiful area, toilets were VERY clean and looked after, shower was amazing, for a “pop up” campsite it ticked all the boxes and the owner was very friendly

A aimé Without doubt the nicest site we have ever stayed. Surrounded by beautiful views - simple, extremely clean facilities.

Water was supplied in big barrels so didn't need to buy bottled stuff. The village is a 20 minute walk with a nice pub, mini market and a great chippy.

Situated in the middle of an idyllic working farm - the owners have struck a perfect balance of warm, friendly and amenable - while letting people feel like they have the place to themselves. It couldn't have been better - had a bit of magic and personality about it that we haven't found in a campsite before.

A aimé Super friendly and present owners. Nice site, decent facilities (very clear what you are getting, and meets this well. Lovely surrounding area and views. Nice hot power shower, decent portaloos. Very dog friendly.

N'a pas aimé A little hard to find a flat pitch (but we did get there reasonably late!).

A aimé Owners were extremely friendly and the amenities on site (shower and toilet) were extremely clean and fully stocked with supplies. The view was beautiful and it was quiet with no disturbance. The owners suggested a nice little hike up to the tarn which was an easy hike which didn’t take long.

A aimé This was just like wild camping in a popular spot, with the nicest portaloos and the coolest shower set up. I’ll be coming back guaranteed! Lots of space to pitch up, not overcrowded, you feel very rural and out in the sticks, lots of local walks, and so many little details considered by the hosts to make basic amenities feel really nice.

N'a pas aimé Nothing! No washing up facilities (I knew this before coming), but for me that was no problem at all. Only a few pitches are perfectly flat, others are on a slight slant. There is one shower (hot!) , two portaloos, plenty drinking water, and a lovely spot at the top of the hill to read under a tree trunk canopy. No phone signal or WiFi (I loved this). No negatives just a few things to be aware of!
