The bell tent we stayed in as there was a lot of room inside and came with lots of little homely touches. The kids absolutely loved it and we can’t wait to come back.
Was disappointed leaving wishing we had booked for longer. The owners were lovely. Nicky couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.
Everywhere was lovely and clean and tidy and smelled amazing.
Toilets clean and hot water when needed for washing pots/ hands and for showers.
Was even given some eggs on departure from Nicky. Such lovely hosts.

Negativ We loved everything.

Positiv Amazing stay, family of 4 (12 and 13 year olds) plus 2 dogs, stayed in a bell tent. Site was quiet, tent had everything you could need, Nicky (host) was so accommodating, nothing was too much, she brought fresh towels, ice daily for the cool box she provided, wood for the fire/log burner, tea, coffee, sugar, marshmallows for toasting. Facilities were clean and well stocked with wipes, sanitary products etc. Games available for everyone to use ie: badminton rackets, nets, board games etc. Was the perfect get away to get back to nature, short drive to Wast Water lake, perfect for paddle boarding, swimming, just a little further up the road is Scafell Pike. Will definitely be returning again, little hidden gem 💎

Positiv Everything. Great location. Easy access to walks, swims and rhe local pub(amazing food and service).
Owners very helpful, friendly and went the extra mile to ensure all guests had everything they needed. Facilities always clean and stocked up. Highly recommend.

Positiv We would definitely recommend this camp site to people. We had a lovely stay, the facilities were amazing, including the toilets which were very clean and well looked after. The site also provided a washing up area with hot water and soap, which was very helpful. The campsite was a small drive to Scarfell Pike, which we climbed.

We will be back!

Positiv Bridge end campsite was wonderful and in the most beautiful location. Nicky was hostess of the mostess! Such a lovely ,friendly and helpful person. Facilities were constantly stocked up and immaculate. Thanks Nicky,we'll be back!

Positiv Nikki runs an amazing campsite with such fantastic attention to detail. She’s a friendly presence on site and world hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. The kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are clean and well maintained.

Positiv Site was absolutely brilliant. All places were kept clean and tidy. Nikki was brilliant with giving us some ideas of what to do and a particular highlight for my little cousin was the marshmallows she surprised us with! could not do enough to make sure we were sorted!
The site is beautiful and in a fantastic location, with lots to do everywhere.
Would definitely recommend and we will 100% be back.

Positiv The campsite was excellent—spacious and well-maintained throughout. The amenities were cleaned daily and kept to a high standard. Nicky, our hostess, was outstanding. She was incredibly helpful in answering our questions about the local area and even provided us with firewood on our final night, allowing us to enjoy toasting marshmallows.

The camp was in driving distance of the lakes. Very easy to go out and explore what the Lake District has to offer.

Negativ We experienced a minor issue with flies and wasps, with the occasional one entering the tent. I would strongly recommend bringing citronella candles as a precaution.

Positiv We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at Bridge End Camping. Facilities were always clean and cleaned regularly. The warm water for washing up and the outdoor toys that were available for anyone to use were brilliant. The site was lovely and quiet and plenty of space for everyone. Nicky was so friendly and accommodating and we were so grateful for her keeping our ice blocks frozen for our longer stay. She even brought our daughter some marshmallows for the fire pit when she learned it was her birthday. Great location for plenty of walks and hikes and a lovely stream for paddling. We will definitely be back for another stay!
