Negativ Food in the pub could be improved home made chips would be a nice touch

Negativ None really. Although not much to see outside the site.

Positiv We liked the grass pitch which was fairly level, the overall site was very well kept and clean. The little food van near the entrance is a great little food offering, especially as we got there slightly later than planned, and saved us cooking. The shower block is clean and the showers are fairly spacious, and again clean. Staff were very helpful.

Negativ There wasn't really anything to dislike, maybe just a couple of suggestions. When staying in the bottom field, the waste options are a fair trek away. There were only two showers, and considering the size of the site I feel a couple more would be a great option.

Positiv Facilities were great, including shop, cafe, bar and toilet block - clean showers and modern/clean dishwashing room. Host team were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Pub had entertainment on Fri and Sat. Very pleasant walks close by.

Positiv Extremely well kept, beautiful surroundings, facilities ok, staff helpful, level pitch and fully serviced,

Negativ Shame butty van was closed all weekend, food in restaurant finished very early Friday ,and Saturday could only offer us chips when we asked, we were lead to believe that the shop stocked essential items but had nothing we wanted so had to go shopping because we were relying on eating food on site so hadn’t taken much with us. Perhaps be an advantage to have a flyer or something with details of opening times for food etc.

UNFORTUNATLY THE GENTLEMAN THAT RUNS THE CATERING VAN IS ON HOLIDAY FOR TWO WEEKS
THE BAR IS OPEN FRI-SUNDAY SERVING FOOD FROM 12;30 -- 7PM
THERE ARE LOTS OF LOCAL TAKEAWAYS THAT DELIVER TO OUR PARK AND AUDLEM IS ONLY A MILE AND HALF AWAY WITH CHIPPY ,KEBAB SHOP AND INDIAN TAKEAWAY. THERE ARE ALSO A COUPLE OF PUBS THAT SERVE FOOD UNTIL ABOUT 7;30

Positiv Toilet block nice and clean, friendly staff, size of site was good. Level pitch, big grass area for kids to play on. Able to have fire pit and bbq.

Negativ We were instructed which way round to pitch our tent, which meant our main door/ porch let out onto either the bushes at the back or directly into the road. Space at the side was ample though. Toilets always had no loo roll in the morning. Showers too awkward to use with kids - 3-4 second bursts is way too short for them to manage themselves. Playground too small for more than 2 or 3 kids to enjoy at a time. Dog poo on the grass. Would be good to have a dedicated bin for hot ashes.

We do have signs all round site stating that dogs must be on leads and dog poo picked up and put in bins provided
