Positiv Just returned from a 3 night stay at King's Green, I was a little apprehensive after reading some not so good reviews but would like to say that my stay was smooth sailing and pleasant.
Interacted breifly with three different members of the team and all were fine.
Big, level pitches with lovely mowed lawn.
Toilets and showers spotless, hot water and no problems with the tokens which I paid 50p for at check in.
No wifi code but could get a strong 4G signal.

Positiv Great location, very quiet in the day and night. Pitches are a good size. Checkin at reception was quick and efficient. Toilet block was clean and tidy, nice hot water and washing up area was great.

Site mainly had seasonal caravan pitches

The fishing was great,loads coming out.

Positiv Let me start by stating I did read some very worrying reviews before we came, which did make me reconsider my booking, I am glad that I ignored those reviews and stayed on this site, my interaction with the owners and other campers was very positive, so my advice is ignore those negative comments and go and enjoy this well run site. It is well sign posted so very easy to find just off the M50 J2, Kings Green is a very well kept site with well marked level pitches. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly young lady that explained they required a deposit for the toilet facilities and that the showers used 50p tokens any we didn’t use could be returned and money refunded. The site was pretty full when we were there but I never had to queue for the showers. We were shown to a choice of pitches, nothing seemed too much trouble and she was happy to answer all my questions. There are a couple of fishing lakes to fish for an extra fee or to stroll around and sit on the benches provided, this is a very peaceful area, we could see some fairly large fish in both lakes. There are a number of seasonal pitches around the perimeter of both main camping areas, most touring pitches are on two central areas.

Negativ The Elsan point is next to (or on) a pitch, although I was not on that pitch it did feel awkward using the elsan with people sat next to you on their pitch, in my opinion creating an elsan point next to the toilet block would resolve those issues. This is not a fault of the site but so you are aware the internet connection for you devices is very sporadic at best during the day, however, not sure why but did seem to improve in the evening.

Quiet rural location with scenic views and 2 lakes to walk around or just sit by.
Pristine level pitches and an immaculate shower block. Nice hot water too.
If you want peace and quiet and walks on the doorstep, this is the perfect site.

Positiv Overall, the campsite is a nice place to stay with a good atmosphere and friendly surroundings. However, the showers can be a bit frustrating at times because the tokens don’t always work. It’s quite disappointing when you’re ready for a shower and the token fails, and several people seemed to be having the same problem. Hopefully this can be improved, as the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

Negativ Should be advised to purchase 2 tokens incase 1 doesn't work. There were many people not happy.
