Positiv Really lovely site, the pitch size was amazing really big, excellent for young children to play games, nice fishing lakes, lovely peaceful weekend break, friendly staff

Negativ nothing to dislike

Positiv Greeted by the owner (I think) who was friendly enough to chat to.

Seemed to be a decent offering in the shop.

It was a quiet day so got a nice pitch in the corner of a practically empty field with a lot of shade on a scorching day.

The pitches were lush and tidy. Had a walk around the lake which seemed fab for fishing.

Negativ The female only toilet was permanently locked and the mixed toilets were as expected. Toilet seat up, wet floors and a pong.

The hedges were such amazing screens that they were full of birds screeching away from dawn - and I do like wildlife but I like sleep more.

A little lacking in character.

Positiv Small site, flat pitch, no problems.
Location was quiet, but the local pub, the blue pig had lovely food.
Was perfect for our 1 night stay.
Lady that greeted us in reception, was friendly.

Negativ Toilets on the following morning wasn’t the cleanest and was missing toilet paper.

Positiv Great stay! Warm welcome by the site owner. Clean and tidy. Had the best stay with no problems at all! Dog friendly. Not far from lovely walks. Will definitely be back to stay again!

Positiv So pleasantly surprised with the shepherd hut. Very clean and modernised. The kids lived being able to run around on the field and still be heard and seen.

Beautiful surroundings and such wonderful service on arrival until checkout.

Negativ Nothing. Everything was perfectly as described.

Positiv Lovely big tent pitch with electric between two hedges . Very private. Great fishing !

Negativ Toilets and showers - floors always wet and filthy as were toilets. Some of the showers didn’t even have hooks behind the door so no where to put your stuff to keep it off the filthy wet floors. Need a little bench or something in there. Needs mops or something in there if it’s not going to be cleaned regularly during the day. Hand dryer on wrong side of basin in toilets and keeps going on as u r sitting there.

Positiv Nice clean site with plenty of room for your pitch. The cafe is nice and useful. There’s 2 pubs about 20 minute walk away.

Negativ Hooks in the showers for clothes had all disappeared and no mats on the floor.

Positiv Quiet, plenty of space, electric hook up good. Friendly staff.

Negativ Showers and toilets not cleaned regularly. Lack of little things like hooks in showers and toilets, no stool or chair either so no where to put your clothes. Floor was wet and muddy so it was a bit of a balancing act. Nowhere to put shower gel etc other than on floor. I suggested a squidgy to clean the floor after use and was told they'd get nicked. Not enough toilets for patrons. No shaving/washing teeth brushing facilities including sinks mirror for hairdryer etc. Getting rid of grey waste was difficult as it was the same place as toilet waste and it was high. Only 1 water tap for fresh water.

Hedges could do with a trim.

Be aware only one single lane entrance and exit with no passing places.

Negativ The pitch was quite tight to get into and out of. Might have been a problem
If there were more caravans there . The pitch itself was a good size though

Positiv Easy to locate. Toilet facilities were very clean. Pubs within walking distance. Great amount of pitch up space, not overcrowded.
