Positiv I booked a one night stay as I had to be in Telford for work. I loved the extremely well maintained site, pitches were tidy and well presented, landscaping around the site is excellent.
Location was also close to Telford and not too far off the M54 or A5 which was ideal for me. Despite this the site was quiet with very little traffic noise from the roads.
I enjoyed how peaceful and tranquil the location is, I kind of wish it had been a warmer evening as I imagine sitting outdoors with the view of the fields would have been lovely in the sunset.
The facilities were spectacularly clean, cleanest I’ve been to all year. May be basic to some but cleanliness and function is much more important in my view so 10/10.
I will definitely be looking into booking a leisure break here in future as it would be great to explore the local walks.

Positiv I booked a hard standing pitch with facilities but on arrival they were all taken. As it was dry weather I was happy to move onto a grass serviced pitch, however if the weather had been bad it would have been a different story. I always pick hard standing as I have a dog and this helps with not bringing dirt into my van. The site is very well kept.

Negativ The lock on the gate is extremely difficult to lock(as others have mentioned), I couldn’t lock it at all.
I’m not sure how busy the site gets in the season but I imagine with only one shower it could be an issue.
Water for washing the dishes went cold very quickly.

I do offer our sincere apologies regards confusion over a hard standing pitch not being available. We are a newish site (open 17 months), this is the 1st time this has happened. I will look into this and thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Again, thanks for your feedback on the gate lock - I have pleasure to confirm a new solution for the gate lock has been found and is on order. We hope we have now resolved the gate lock issue.

In regards to the shower - as we are only a small site, we have been advised that the boiler should be sufficient. I will make inquiries regards this as we may need to look at a larger boiler.

Positiv level pitch's, site kept neat and tidy,

Negativ A41 road noise can be intrusive depending on wind direction and while a minor thing the combination lock on the gate (which could see from our pitch) is a pain to use and having seen several people struggling with it that's not just us.

Positiv Solitude, cleanliness, toilets.

Negativ The secure lock for the entrance gate was extremely difficult to open. We watched other guests having the same problem.
