Positiv Loved setting and privacy of the hut. Close to lovely village’s to explore. The self check-in easy and communication from booking to leaving was instant and informative. Bedding and towels immaculate, bed extremely comfortable. The shower hot and impressive for off grid property. Composting toilet was clean and well explained. Beautiful place to recharge, bird watch and relax.
You need to bring everything you need if you want to eat and bbq on site. Small amount of cups and bbq/fire pit available Alice does an amazing job of signposting what you should bring.
Very uninterrupted stay will 💯 be back. Thanks for having us!

Negativ There is opportunity for solar for charging phones but it doesn’t work, I feel making this a priority would increase bookings. Even though I had power banks and essential gas stove for boiling the kettle it was annoying seeing the power switches and solar panels not working. When it’s a very sunny site.
Taking away the rubbish after a 2 night stay was difficult due to space in the car, maybe signposting to the nearest tip would help, it’s a commercial estate could you maybe offer using your bin for a small charge?
We also noticed the metal gate hinge on the sheep field was broken, some could find this difficult to manage.

Positiv The privacy of the walled Garden, the open space and the surrounding countryside.The hot water shower and compost toilet were very much appreciated.
There was ample space for our tent and the shepherds hut was lovely with a very comfortable bed.
It was great that a fire pit and barbecue were provided.

Negativ Unfortunately the solar power didn't work on our visit so there was no electricity for charging the phones up (it wasnt the end of the world we found cafes.)
