The shepherd's huts at Willey Estates Camping should be just the spot for couples looking for a country escape or a family (or two) in search of a memorable getaway. Set in a walled garden, the tiny glamping site also has space for guests to pitch a tent for the kids if needed. The shepherd's huts each have a double bed, a table and chairs and a woodburning stove. They aren't quite ensuite, but they have their very own outdoor wooden composting loo and a gas-powered shower for a warm shower in the morning. The outdoor area also has a barbecue and a table and chairs, where you're welcome to savour your evening meals and drinks. There are lots of great walks in the local area or a little further afield in the Clee Hills (45 minutes' drive away) or the Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd (40 minutes). If you're the type who likes to keep your breaks very active, get stuck into rafting or canoeing on the river Severn. History fans should also be nicely occupied by the famed museums of Ironbridge (from around 10 minutes' drive) and the Blists Hill Victorian Town (15 minutes). Interested in a meet and greet or afternoon tea with friendly alpacas? Guests at this site benefit from a 10% discount at Frankly Alpacas (about 15 minutes' drive), where a range of entertaining options are available.

Trekkershut

Ik was blij met Loved setting and privacy of the hut. Close to lovely village’s to explore. The self check-in easy and communication from booking to leaving was instant and informative. Bedding and towels immaculate, bed extremely comfortable. The shower hot and impressive for off grid property. Composting toilet was clean and well explained. Beautiful place to recharge, bird watch and relax.
You need to bring everything you need if you want to eat and bbq on site. Small amount of cups and bbq/fire pit available Alice does an amazing job of signposting what you should bring.
Very uninterrupted stay will 💯 be back. Thanks for having us!

Ik was niet blij met There is opportunity for solar for charging phones but it doesn’t work, I feel making this a priority would increase bookings. Even though I had power banks and essential gas stove for boiling the kettle it was annoying seeing the power switches and solar panels not working. When it’s a very sunny site.
Taking away the rubbish after a 2 night stay was difficult due to space in the car, maybe signposting to the nearest tip would help, it’s a commercial estate could you maybe offer using your bin for a small charge?
We also noticed the metal gate hinge on the sheep field was broken, some could find this difficult to manage.

Poplar trekkershut

Ik was blij met The privacy of the walled Garden, the open space and the surrounding countryside.The hot water shower and compost toilet were very much appreciated.
There was ample space for our tent and the shepherds hut was lovely with a very comfortable bed.
It was great that a fire pit and barbecue were provided.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately the solar power didn't work on our visit so there was no electricity for charging the phones up (it wasnt the end of the world we found cafes.)
