Positiv Amazing site. We prefer not to have to deal with anyone and that was the case here. All instructions on email so just pull up, set up and enjoy! Great facilities, dog walking area was ideal.

Positiv A very warm welcome from the lovely owners , the site is impeccably maintained. Large pitches with room for caravan, awning and car and lots of space for maneuvering onto the pitch . A beautiful site with attention to detail to the onsite facilities and all were spotlessly clean.
The owners send an email the evening before travelling with the gate access code and pitch number , together with the site map and contact numbers is very helpful and informative so you know exactly where you are going . The site is accessed from the road into Sutton on Sea with clear signage on the road , a perfect location for visiting the area .
An added bonus was the new dog walking field just opened adjacent to the site, a large field with a mowed path, perfect addition to the site .
We highly recommend The Old Barn Retreat, one of the best we've stayed at.

Positiv What a fantastic site! Communication prior to arrival was clear and informative. Pitches were wonderfully level and clearly laid out, site map and pitch information was received before arrival making it easy to find where to pitch up. Facilities were immaculate and clearly well maintained. WiFi being available was an added bonus. Visiting the site at this time of year meant it was incredibly quiet but I can imagine even at busier times there would still be a peaceful feel to the site. I will be visiting again in the future!!

Positiv Excellent site facilities spotlessly clean, could not fault it.
Paul went above and beyond to make our stay most welcome. He went and got us Fish & Chips when chippy van didn’t turn up not his fault was getting refurbished.
Great new dog walk on adjacent field.

Was there for 2 nights on my own before my husband came and felt very safe.
Clean toilets and shower.
Grounds well tendered.
Fish and chip van on Thursday night.

Positiv It's a beautiful well kept site, flower's everywhere and the toilets and showers are that clean they sparkle. The owner's were proud of there site and they know everything you needed to know about the surrounding places. We are going again next year, if you have a stressful job and you need to relax this is the best place. And the WiFi is very strong.

Negativ The sat nav took us to a concrete place in stead of the site, but after ringing the site it was only just round the corner. But that's not there folt.

Positiv Everything about The Old Barn retreat is first class. The pitches are spacious, the bathroom and washing facilities are excellent, very secure site and the welcome received was lovely. Been enjoying van life for three years and this is the best site we have stayed at yet.

Negativ There really was nothing to dislike, we really enjoyed our stay.
