Positiv: great Pitch. Flat hardstanding. Pub close by also public footpath to river Severn.

Negativ: Facilities a bit basic. Clean but the old school wooden doors made for a very chilly shower

Positiv: Perfectly proportioned, off the beaten track yet easy to find, good facilities, great dog walks, very quiet, fantastic pub just a short walk away. Family run and the site helps support the working of the cattle farm, happy to support them. We only used this site to break the journey away, but will probably return again and use it as a base to explore the greater Severn/South Cotswolds area.

Positiv: Nice quiet site with basic facilities. We came to see the Severn bore and were able to walk to the river in a few minutes.

Positiv: Not much

Negativ: No one available to check you in an tell you where anything was. Facilities not sign posted, clearly. Small signs on drinking water tap very poorly visible as we could not see it used tap beside else point for water supply, to find people using that later for rinsing toilet casettes. Washing up area unclean and water a tiny trickle. Hard standing pitches holding water and quite mucky. Booked 2 nights only stayed 1

Vom Platzbetreiber: Hi, thank you for staying with us and leaving a review. Apologies for not being on site when you arrived but we are a very small and only have 5 pitches available currently due to the horrendous wet weather. We can’t afford to have someone on site all day on a campsite this size. You had our contact number if you needed us at all and we would have been more than happy to assist with anything. We don’t hire any cleaners and have to do it ourselves, we have cows calving at the moment which takes up a lot of time. So I’m very sorry if the washing up area was missed during cleaning. The hard standings being wet and the mud on site were also due to the relentless rain we have been experiencing.

Positiv: The site was very quiet and peaceful easy to find and good access from the village and motorway. The local pub (within walking distance) serves lovely food and local beers. The hard standing pitches were flat and a good size (accommodated the caravan, awning and car). On site facilities good. Owner friendly.

Negativ: Take a torch if walking to the pub or toilets in the dark (was not really a dislike just a comment and if you are in a caravan you will probably be using your own facilities anyway). Phone and wifi (4G/Vodaphone) not strong but beyond the control of the owner.

Negativ: Noisy birds. Lots of them, nesting in the trees right by the site.

Positiv: Site Very Q and level and lots of walks pub 10 mins walk which is owned by village. Friendly atmosphere and good food.

Negativ: Can get a smell from the local cow farm if wind blowing in right direction
