Positiv Toilet and shower facilities really good, new and clean. Lovely park for kids, nice shop with the basis and kids playhouse outside. Staff were really helpful.

Negativ The drive to get in is horrendous. Very steep and slippery with lots of potholes, we were quite shocked at how bad it was. Our car really struggled with the caravan and burnt the clutch out (hills that steep before have not been an issue). I think very strongly should be flagged on the website it is steep - would stop us coming back. Staff said there were plans to set up a new entrance but I think the potholes should be repaired. You have to pay separately for both electric and wifi - both worked very well when set up but it is a faff I would rather not have - I would rather pay more for the campsite and have this included. Wifi worked well at the pitch.

We're sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with the driveway during your visit. We appreciate that the surface would benefit from some attention, and we're pleased to confirm that a replacement drive in a new location is already planned for this winter. The driveway has welcomed thousands of caravans and motorhomes of all sizes throughout the season, but we do understand that your experience was not as straightforward as you had hoped.
Regarding electricity and Wi-Fi, we appreciate that separate payments may not be everyone's preference. Our approach is to keep pitch prices as competitive as possible, allowing guests to choose the additional services they need, with electricity charged according to actual usage rather than a fixed daily fee.

Positiv Good size pitch. Good access to local park and walks for dogs. Very nice facilities.

We are absolutely mortified to hear that you found dog mess on your pitch, and we're so sorry that you had this unpleasant experience. Please be assured that we do regularly check our pitches and take great pride in keeping the campsite clean and well maintained. This is an extremely unusual occurrence for us and certainly not something we would ever expect our guests to encounter. It is disappointing that, despite our clear rules requiring dogs to be kept on leads and owners to clean up after them, the dog owner has not done so on this occasion. I do hope you reported this to reception so that one of the team cleaned it up.
We are however very pleased that you liked the site despite this and look forward to welcoming you back. Thank you.

Positiv Level pitches, well maintained and presented. Clean facilities and a great location.

Negativ Timeout on gents loo lights could have been longer. Sit down for longer than 2 minutes you will be plunged into darkness.

Positiv Excellent site, toilets, showers spotlessly clean, electric and app worked a treat, a lovely onsite shop/reception, amazing breakfast rolls. Friendly and helpful staff. The owners allowed us to come back later on our day of departure, so our tent could be packed away dry after a night and morning of rain, many thanks for that it helped us enormously. All in all a wonderful stay, I would not hesitate to recommend, will definitely be back
