Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Staff were amazing, site was spotless and fully equipped, entertainment on site when we arrived was a bonus. Shop and facilities were well stocked and fresh food available. We had a wheelchair user with us and nothing was too much trouble for the staff in assisting us.
Clean, good location, well kept!
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Very well kept site! Everywhere was beautifully maintained. The showers and toilets were immaculate and modern. Nice little shop, they do coffee and croissants etc. Helpful lady at reception. Lovely walks from site, really enjoyed it, would return with the family.
Disliked Only one tiny thing, on the website it said you could bring your own firepit which I did, then when I asked about blocks to raise it off the ground I was told they don't do that anymore, I would have to hire one off them for £11 including wood, kindling and fire starters, which I did but it would have been good to know.
Excellent site. Will definitely return.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely clean campsite, Welfare facilities were top notch, clean and welcoming. The owners are obviously very proud of it and have put money into it to make it as nice as possible because it shows.
Disliked My fault entirely for arriving after reception closed.... but I would have liked the option for an honesty box so I could have paid for hire of a fire pit (they are all stored outside to be taken to your pitch but I didn't use one as I didnt pay).
Also more a word of warning to motorcycle campers, the entrance road to site has loose gravel on it so something to watch out for if on road tyres.
Lovely campsite close to Coleford

Nice.
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked The campsite was decent, fairly pricey and super clean.
The on-site shop/reception was nice and fairly priced.
Disliked Tons of empty pitches but the field area we where in was getting quite full with tents/campers.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked We enjoyed our two nights stay here. We found the facilities were very clean, the staff were friendly and the site was very peaceful and laid back. There were lovely woodland/forest walks and countryside walks from the site. The pitches were well spaced out.
Great location, great campsite

Liked Staff friendly
Clean site
Location fantastic
Easy access
Clean facilities
Disliked Only comment would be the area was huge, but they put all the campers on pitches next to each other. Would make sense to spread us out a little
From the manager: Thank you for your wonderful review!
We will take that on board regarding spreading people - it does seem crazy to have pitched you all at the tope end of the field when we could have spread you out.
