Ruhiger Campingplatz mit Grundausstattung, großzügigen Stellplätzen und ländlichem Flair. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, Lagerfeuer erlaubt, Bollerwagen vorhanden. Ein Gast erwähnte Lärm. Manchmal langer Rasen, keine Parkplätze auf Stellplätzen. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, gute Lage.

Good back to basics camping option not far from Peak District

Positiv Large space for camping, didn't feel like you were on top of others on site at any point. If you like back to basics camping then this is a good site to go to. Local towns have food options if not using a bbq.
Negativ Unfortunately unable to have a campfire this time due to the dry grass caused by the recent heatwaves. Not really a lot to do on site, so if you're heading to Yew Tree Farm for a few days you will need to plan activities to do in nearby towns. Bins were very full and when opening them quite smelly. The toilet facilities although cleaned at times through the day can quickly become unclean if other campers aren't courteous (as was the case during our visit!).

Positiv Amazing site at a great price. The toilets and showers are clean and well maintained, and the location is fantastic. The owners are also very welcoming and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Positiv Everything. Such a beautiful rural spot to camp. Only 10 tent pitches and no cars or vans on site. Lovely cut paths and circular pitches amongst the meadow field. Which will be cut later in the season for hay.
Negativ Due to the ground being very soft pegs can come loose very easily in high winds and rain. Take plenty of pegs for bad weather

Positiv The site was great, in beautiful surroundings. There was plenty of space between pitches and the kids had great freedom. The facilities were clean and stocked up. The owner was welcoming and there if you need anything.

Positiv Plenty of space as there are only ten pitches, no cars allowed on the site which kept things peaceful, owners leave you to it which makes for a relaxing stay. Nice to be able to have a fire wherever you want and have music on if you want to (and we had no issues with noise from other camps).
Negativ If you’re wanting lots of facilities this isn’t the site for you but we were happy with it. Toilets and showers were clean, just make sure you bring a battery pack to charge your phone etc
