Liked: Fantastic campsite! Easy to find and good parking, very spacious with not too many pitches. Good facilities including M/F showers and toilets, and a washing up station with drinking water. Appreciated being able to use fire pits on site and the availability of fire wood to buy.
Not too far from some of the great Peak District walks (~1hr drive from Mam Tor/Kinder Scout).
Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Very motorcycle friendly, great clean toilet and showers. Good pitches with place to have a fire.
Disliked: This is NOT a quiet site, don’t expect to get an early night if your up walking the local area. Was kept awake until 2:00am on Saturday night. Not the fault of the site, but clearly the campers that stay there enjoy music. So not for me, so low overall rating

From the manager: I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the site generally but sorry to learn you did not have a peaceful evening on one of the nights you stayed. I would suggest that if guests are disturbed by others after a reasonable hour to have a polite word to ask those causing the disturbance to keep it down. Generally people are very receptive and apologetic as they don't always realise they are being a nuisance.
Amazing highly recommend, perfect for family’s or groups.

Liked: Patch was tidy and well maintained. Toilet and shower facilities were private, clean and in working order, as was the outside pot washing area. Owners were friendly and they have lots of lovely dogs and cats. Will definitely be back one day.
Disliked: You’re not allowed to drive onto the patch itself, but have to carry your items from the car park bit. Not an issue for me, as it stops the patch getting messed up, but I’m sure some might grumble. There is a wheel barrow you can use to help carry your stuff back and forth.

Liked: Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space for pitches, quiet location but close enough to local shops to walk if you want, and larger town to drive to. Good toilets and shower, always clean. Footpath running across if you want to explore the area. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Liked: Arrived home today from a four night stay. The site was lovely and quiet and liked we could pitch where we liked. The shower was nice and hot and the toilet block was clean loved the little touch of superwoman on the doors, think the men's had batman. Very friendly owners. Loved we could have a campfire which was one of the main reasons for going. Already planning our trip back.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike
