Syntes om Loved the bell tent and massive grass area for children to play safely. Cafe had live musician who was great. Toilet blocks were spotless.

Syntes ikke om Cafe only had Saturday menu on which meant no kids meals. With two fussy children this mean only chips for dinner.
There was a few stains on the bedding which looked like blood on one bed.

Syntes om A beautuful place for us to stay in our campervan. The restaurant is brilliant, the shower and toilets are clean and everything you need,there is a shop too which we found really handy. The field where we stayed provided the best views. Definitely will be back.

Syntes om Really nice quiet site, loads of space to camp so other tents weren’t too close by. There were football nets in the middle of the field that you could easily see from the tents so the kids could play freely. Toilets and showers really clean and bins behind them to keep everywhere clean. We didn’t eat in the cafe but food looked really nice, they had a singer on so we were able to sit outside and have a drink. Everyone was really friendly and gorgeous views. Will definitely return!

Syntes ikke om Not a dislike but there is a lovely pub called the badger about 1 hours walk away down the canal, would have been great to have this better signposted, definitely worth a visit.

Syntes om Brilliant stay for two nights. Had everything we needed. Clean toilet facilities and lots of space for our set up. Lots of good walks and some live music Saturday afternoon.

Syntes om Brilliant and very clean toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Good size area with plenty of space between pitches. The on site cafe was nice. 2 football goals on site kept my son entertained. We would stay here again

Syntes om Site was lovely and the bell tents were really cosy. Toilets and showers really clean and the breakfast great at the cafe. The Saturday musician was amazing and it was great sitting outside with a gin and tonic. We had a good 8 walk down the canal and back. Cleaning staff were lovely and did a great job. We would definitely come back but I think we just got unlucky with the night we chose to spend in the tent which unfortunately ruined our experience in the tent.

Syntes ikke om I think the listing is slightly misleading as I thought it included a mini fridge, so also thought there would be electricity but there wasn’t so we had nowhere to charge phones. Fairy lights didn’t work and it was only when we were leaving that the cleaners mentioned there should be a power pack in the room to which we replied that there wasn’t. It’s very noisy where the bell tents are, cars speeding down the country road, low flying aeroplanes and a dog barking all night which came from a near by house. Our stay was also ruined by the couple in the tent opposite that were clearly having sex outside there tent on and off between 2-4am and playing awful music. They were so load it sounded like a pig being tortured. Complete disregard for anyone around and I’m just glad it kept just me and my mum up and not my daughter as well. Would have had a great nights sleep if it wasn’t for that.
Opening times of the cafe on the leaflets in the tents were incorrect and they advertised packcakes and eggs Benedict on the adverts which my daughter was really looking forward but they actually don’t serve either in the cafe. I would come back again but possibly for the camping instead as I think it’s further away from the busy road.

Syntes om Lovely level field with plenty of space. Toilet and shower facilities are outstanding.
The onsite cafe does a great breakfast and has a lovely view of the marina.
