General
- Peaceful park in the centre of the Cheshire canal network
- 100-acre site five miles from Nantwich with easy access from the M6
- Heated amenities; barbecue and picnic areas; café with licensed bar
Given its name, you might reckon that this Cheshire site is right near some water. And you'd go to the top of the class, for Aqueduct Marina Caravan Park is on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal, in the centre of the Cheshire canal network and surrounded by towpaths for waterside walks. Or might you just fancy sitting by the marina and watching the canal boats drift lazily by? (All the better to plot which type you're going to acquire when that lottery win is yours, all yours…)
Other lazy options at this peaceful park include the barbecue and picnic areas, or lounging around in the Galley café which has a licensed bar and monthly social events. The many shops, cafés and pubs of market town Nantwich are a five-mile drive away for lazy urban afternoons.
Aqueduct Marina is set on 100 acres of peaceful Cheshire farmland, with easy access to the M6 and off the B5074 in Church Minshull, near Chester and north Wales. Families, couples, small groups and dogs are all welcome.
As well as the barbecue and picnic areas, the park owners have also added a secure night-time barrier, CCTV, a DIY servicing bay and a recycling compound. A licensed bar is on site with monthly social events on the last weekend of the month.
Amenities are bang up to date on site too and include showers and toilets with underfloor heating and hairdryers, as well as a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing table.

Thank you for your review. We have indeed created a covid secure environment by reducing contact at all costs. We therefore email you all pitch details and site information, terminating the need to visit the reception to speak in person. We as that you enter and leave the building in a one way system when using facilities, and to book your table in advance when using our café. This is entirely due to covid as we are usually more than happy to chat away. Our facilities are within the one building guests are allowed in (Toilets, reception, laundrette and café) which is sign posted from the main car park and upon entry through our security barrier. Our toilet facilities are 109m from the site, which in my own camping experience, is very fair and a short minutes walk adjacent to our blissful Marina. |

Local attractions
Aqueduct Marina Caravan Park's Cheshire location and easy access from the M6 means it's in a most handy spot to get to heaps of tourist attractions around this part of the north west and Chester.
A popular option in the area is Oulton Park, the racing track in the little village of Budworth that bills itself as the most picturesque track in all the land, or you could hike around the wilds of nearby Delamere Forest, or stick to lazy days and potter around small Cheshire villages like Tattenhall and Tarporley.
Chester is also easily accessible from the caravan park and has heaps to see among its old streets and swish shops. Animal fans make their way to Chester Zoo on the outskirts of the city to see as many as possible of its 12,000+ animals and over 400 species; if nature is your animalish thing, also get along to the Blue Planet Aquarium and its 100 or so living displays including the biggest school of sharks in Europe.
Green fingered? Clear the car boot and drive over to Bridgemere, one of the biggest garden centres in the world and with all things gardenlike as well as toys and clothes in its mammoth shopping centre.

Thank you for your review. We advertise our pitches clearly and without false information as you book your stay. The main photograph is of our whole site, clearly advertising pitches, distancing and layout, so I'm sorry you believed they were too close. Our facilities are 109 m from the site, and much further to our moorers, I believe from personal experience this is very fair when caravanning! Our land is due to be re-gravelled any time soon, as it is required annually due to the traffic on-site year round. We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay
