Syntes om I stayed here for one night, with my dog. Our first time camping and it was way better than expected, beautiful walks along the river and the hill, the host so nice and kind.
There is nothing I did not like, there was plenty of space for everybody, granted it was Friday perhaps it’s slightly busier Saturdays but overall a great experience. Facilities were also good and clean. Loved the lights on the bridge as well nice touch.

Syntes ikke om A small bridge over the river on the other side to make the toilets even closer for the bigger part of land would make this even better but regardless it is a great place to camp.

Syntes om Location great for walks and local village pubs (Knighton). Small and peaceful campsite with picturesque stream running though, and lovely views of the rolling hills. Facilities were clean and well presented. We built a stepping stone bridge to get to the facilities.

Syntes ikke om Having to pay per night for fire pit rental (£5) felt a bit excessive whereas other campsites charge that amount for the duration of the stay.

Syntes om Wonderful location on the River Teme with great views all around and wildlife. Lots of birds including Herons and Kingfishers. Sheep were grazing all around. Very peaceful as not near any main roads. The train does come past but only a few times a day and did not bother us at all. Friendly staff and excellent clean toilets and showers. Plenty of space to camp. Great walks from the site which is on the Offas Dyke path. A short walk into Knighton with several shops for groceries. Pubs within 20 minute walk although we didn’t visit any.
There is a snack hut on site selling hot drinks, cakes and delicious ice cream.

Syntes om Loved the whole place.
The nice relaxed and friendly owners of the the site made it all the better!
The surrounding countryside and river were beautiful and it was all just a short walk to Knighton witch had lots of cafes and more.
Plenty of walks nearby too.

Syntes om On arrival I went to the reception at the house and was welcomed by a lovely lady, she told us to have a drive around and pick wherever we’d like to setup camp.
A very peaceful and idyllic site with the river trickling through, we we’re surrounded by sheep in adjacent fields, even had 2 join us in the camping field.
Have been looking for a relaxed get away with good walks that is only an hr from home, and I think we have found it! We will definitely be going back.

Syntes om Great place for a chilled quiet break. Plenty of room on the flat fields next to a flowing river and rail track. Lovely clean facilities and friendly hosts.

Syntes om Lovely site and excellent facilities including a great little cafe.
The addition of a communal fridge and microwave was very helpful.
The pitch was large and it wasn’t too busy. Great location for walking into Knighton town or for walking, including Offas Dyke.

Syntes om Straightforward easiness of the place, beautiful peaceful spot. Use of fridge and thoughtfulness of electrical kettle for those who need it (I didn’t on this occasion). Ultra clean showers. All for reasonable price, like campsites used to be!
