Em va agradar Peaceful site with a good dog walking area. Lovely walks from the site, including to the donkey sanctuary. There is a small golf course nearby. We liked the individual toilet/basin rooms.

No em va agradar If the site had been busier, we would have had to use the older toilet/shower building, which is looking tired. As it was quiet, I only had to wait a few minutes for a shower to be free. Pitch was slightly sloping, so chocks were needed, but this wasn't a problem.

Em va agradar We was allowed to stay in the all grass area instead of the half gravel half grass pitches - which was great! Toilets and shower facilities were fantastic and clean and also heated which was such a bonus! Lovely part of Salcombe friendly staff & we'll be back. Thanks again.

Em va agradar Very helpful and accommodating. We had a good pitch looking onto the woodland. Showers and toilets were clean, warm and spacious. It was a very well thought out site. Would definitely go again. Thank you

Em va agradar We liked the location, near the Donkey Sanctuary which we wanted to go to. Also liked the site except for the levels of the pitches, which were still to “slopey” even after using the levellers, the facilities were first class, very clean and separated into individual units, unlike a lot of sites where they are more like a school changing room, all lumped in together. There is an outdoor table tennis table, which was great to play on as they had good bats and balls, there was also a putting green and a badminton court. The site was nice and quite when we were there so that was a welcome thing.

No em va agradar The slightly hostile reception I received from a member of staff who thought he knew me even after being told we had never been there before, I disliked his attitude which I found to be a bit off putting and felt he was being discriminatory. This character needs to be trained in how to approach customers who after all are paying his wages. Although I enjoyed playing table tennis, I hurt my hand a couple of times hitting the edge of the metal table which had sharp edges, so anyone playing on the table should be careful when going for certain shots as you could do some serious damage to your hand if it hits the sharp edge of the table, the grass on the putting green was a bit too long but was still playable they supplied the putters and golf balls and we still enjoyed playing.

Em va agradar Open green site, spacious and tidy and very quiet when we visited. Excellent, clean washing facilities. Can walk into Sidmouth via forest and steep coastal path. We caught bus back up the hill. Bus stop about 15 minutes walk from site

No em va agradar Pitches sloping or certainly our hard standing was so levelling blocks required. Hardly any 4G signal and you had to pay if you wanted Wifi

Em va agradar Friendly welcome and lots of information given on places to visit and then taken to our pitch.
Lovely quiet site with plenty of space around the pitches, including a picnic bench.
The showers and toilets were always spotless whatever time of day we used them.
There are two blocks, one very modern and one 'vintage' but both equally clean and well maintained. (The vintage block has a hairdryer)
It's in a fantastic location with some beautiful coastal walks.
It's a short walk to the beach (pebble)which we found almost deserted and so peaceful.
It's a lovely but hilly walk into Sidmouth but worth it, it's a lovely town.
We initially booked for three nights but stayed another two as it was so nice!

No em va agradar Our pitch had the biggest tree at the side which shaded our van quite a bit but there was still space for us to sit in the sun so it didn't bother us that much.

Em va agradar Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean facilities, excellent showers and toilets within easy reach of all pitches. Great walks down to the beach, Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. Badminton, table tennis and putting on site too. Easy to get too from main road.
