Treat yourself to a holiday at Hill Farm Caravan Park, a dog-friendly site a 15-minute drive from the popular Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park and less than 20 minutes from the numerous walking trails of the New Forest. A grand spot for keeping the kids entertained when they’re not fawning over their favourite cartoon character, this site has open spaces for kids to play in and a dog walk leading down to the site’s woods, where four-legged friends can frolic off-lead. If the sprogs (and dogs) in your life aren’t travelling with you, the park still makes a great base – it’s a top spot for touring the Test Valley (20 minutes’ drive) and Stonehenge (40 minutes) or visiting the cities of Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester (all within half an hour). Ferries set off from half an hour away if you’re off to France or the Isle of Wight. Staying local? The park’s handily placed for horse riding, walking or fly and coarse fishing breaks. Come evening, it’s a peaceful place as the no-noise policy after 11pm boosts the chances of a good night’s snooze. Head to the local pub, a 20-minute walk away, for supper and a pint just before bedding down; for breakfast and lunch, the on-site café serves up all-day breakfasts, light bites and homemade cakes. A shop on the grounds sells alcohol, groceries, newspapers and a small selection of caravan and camping essentials.

Els visitants troben el càmping tranquil amb personal amable i servicial. Les instal·lacions, especialment les dutxes i lavabos, són netes i ben mantingudes, encara que una mica anticuades. Els espais són bons, tot i que alguns són propers. La Wi-Fi és sovint deficient o inexistent. S'han esmentat problemes amb la zona de jocs infantils i els punts de desguàs químic. Em va agradar Very friendly staff on arrival, clear instructions site felt very secure we were backed to the hedge next to the main road but traffic didn’t really bother us as were early risers anyway we only really used as a base for our caravan as was out everyday but we’re hoping to return to the area and we would definitely stay here again

Em va agradar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve just had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend staying at Hill Farm Caravan Park and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

The whole site is beautifully kept, clean and well looked after, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The toilets and shower blocks were exceptionally clean throughout, which is always a big plus.

The staff were absolutely brilliant — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A special mention has to go to Carol, who was amazing and incredibly keen to help with anything we needed. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying their stay.

We had a great weekend and will definitely be coming back. A lovely, well-run caravan park with a fantastic team. Thank you Hill Farm for a brilliant Bank Holiday!

Em va agradar Lovely quiet campsite, good size pitches. Friendly staff and very dog friendly. Lots of shade provided by trees

No em va agradar Very minor but the pitch wasn’t very even. Barely noticed it while we were there though. Shop didn’t have much in stock, but it was just before the bank hol weekend.

Em va agradar We enjoyed the fact that it was a nice quiet site, the staff that we saw were friendly and it was a tidy place. No rubbish.

No em va agradar We chose to book this place because the pictures showed a coffee shop and a shop. The shop wasn’t open and we were then told that the coffee shop wasn’t open anymore and being taken over.
Facilities were clean however quite outdated and looked like it needed some new clean shower curtains etc!

The lights throughout the site at night half didn’t work and a few trip hazards on route!

We know this can’t be helped by the site but we came home absolutely coated in mosquito bites that have also become infected so wasn’t the lose enjoyable time for us unfortunately.

Em va agradar The pitch was nice and spacious. Great showers and good toilet facilities. A bit of a walk to washing up place but we were okay with that. No children’s play area but plenty of space for kids to run around and nice local playgrounds too

No em va agradar The place seem to have lots of empty pitches but no pitch up availability and friends were not able to book via phone or email as no one answers those- hence my low score for the customer service. The people who greeted us in a day were lovely!

Marwell Zoo houses more than 200 rare species, from tigers and snow leopards to rhinos and hippos, and the Hawk Conservancy Trust cares for birds in its combined 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadows. Both are around half an hour away. If urban explores are on the agenda, Romsey (15 minutes) is the nearest market town for a wander round the shops, while the promise of a peek at one of Britain’s best cathedrals might be enough to lure you over to the city of Salisbury (25 minutes).
