What customers say
This is a clean, friendly site with good facilities, including well-kept washrooms, a convenient shop, and a popular cafe. Some guests noted noise and tight pitches. A few reviews mentioned areas looking tired and needing upkeep, particularly the playground and waste disposal. Despite this, many recommend it for its peaceful vibe and helpful staff.

Lovely site, generous pitch sizes, good facilities.

Liked What a lovely site! The pitches are very generous, the shower block is nice and clean and love the fact they are separate rooms rather than cubicals. The owners were very welcoming and lovely! We didn’t visit the shop so I have no comment on that.
Disliked As much as I liked the shower block, they could do with a bit of modernising.

We’ve just had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend staying at Hill Farm Caravan Park and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
The whole site is beautifully kept, clean and well looked after, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The toilets and shower blocks were exceptionally clean throughout, which is always a big plus.
The staff were absolutely brilliant — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A special mention has to go to Carol, who was amazing and incredibly keen to help with anything we needed. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying their stay.
We had a great weekend and will definitely be coming back. A lovely, well-run caravan park with a fantastic team. Thank you Hill Farm for a brilliant Bank Holiday!

Liked Lovely quiet campsite, good size pitches. Friendly staff and very dog friendly. Lots of shade provided by trees
Disliked Very minor but the pitch wasn’t very even. Barely noticed it while we were there though. Shop didn’t have much in stock, but it was just before the bank hol weekend.

We have been stocking the shop up and trying to get a balance of what people want, so we can cater for everyone. Any suggestions are welcome.
All in all not the most enjoyable stay and wouldn’t return.
FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (premium)
Liked We enjoyed the fact that it was a nice quiet site, the staff that we saw were friendly and it was a tidy place. No rubbish.
Disliked We chose to book this place because the pictures showed a coffee shop and a shop. The shop wasn’t open and we were then told that the coffee shop wasn’t open anymore and being taken over.
Facilities were clean however quite outdated and looked like it needed some new clean shower curtains etc!
The lights throughout the site at night half didn’t work and a few trip hazards on route!
We know this can’t be helped by the site but we came home absolutely coated in mosquito bites that have also become infected so wasn’t the lose enjoyable time for us unfortunately.
