- Fishing permits are available from reception at a cost of £14 per session. Fly fishing only is permitted. A maximum of three fish may be taken per session. Unfortunately, many park locations and much of the accommodation is unsuitable for visitors with mobility issues.

Em va agradar The reason I booked this site was because of the price for a pod per night. As a single, solo traveller I wanted something that wasn’t ridiculously overpriced that I could do with my dog for a couple of nights away.
I’ve never been to Wooler and the location was ideal as I didn’t want to have to drive hours away - I live in Hartlepool. Between the pod, petrol and a little food shop - the 3 days (2 nights) was under £100. I don’t earn a lot of money and this was perfect.
The campsite itself is very well maintained and I felt it was more respectful than how I feel the campsites in Pooley Bridge have become overwhelming in recent years.
I have already re-booked for October and I have recommend this campsite and their pods to my friends. I felt very safe and secure on site which is important. I only used to toilet facilities because I didn’t need to use anything else. Toilets were spotless. The pod was spacious, the simple mini fridge a God-send and a light was all provided - all I needed. I just wanted somewhere I could sit, read my book that was close enough to a village, where I could go during the afternoon to walk my dog.
The staff at reception were very pleasant, helpful and I felt confident if I needed anything all I needed to do was ask.
Overall this was a wonderful site, well priced and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Em va agradar Loved how friendly the site was , and had everything you need there . Would definitely recommend and come again .
No em va agradar In my opinion the showers and toilets could do with and little TLC and the same with the changing rooms at swimming pool.

When we reached the Bar and Grill, we were informed the only menu was pizzas , burgers and a child's menu. There was no chef.
Reluctantly we opted for a pepperoni pizza and fries.
It was tasty, but was over priced.
