Gostou The reason I booked this site was because of the price for a pod per night. As a single, solo traveller I wanted something that wasn’t ridiculously overpriced that I could do with my dog for a couple of nights away.

I’ve never been to Wooler and the location was ideal as I didn’t want to have to drive hours away - I live in Hartlepool. Between the pod, petrol and a little food shop - the 3 days (2 nights) was under £100. I don’t earn a lot of money and this was perfect.

The campsite itself is very well maintained and I felt it was more respectful than how I feel the campsites in Pooley Bridge have become overwhelming in recent years.

I have already re-booked for October and I have recommend this campsite and their pods to my friends. I felt very safe and secure on site which is important. I only used to toilet facilities because I didn’t need to use anything else. Toilets were spotless. The pod was spacious, the simple mini fridge a God-send and a light was all provided - all I needed. I just wanted somewhere I could sit, read my book that was close enough to a village, where I could go during the afternoon to walk my dog.

The staff at reception were very pleasant, helpful and I felt confident if I needed anything all I needed to do was ask.

Overall this was a wonderful site, well priced and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Gostou Loved how friendly the site was , and had everything you need there . Would definitely recommend and come again .

Não gostou In my opinion the showers and toilets could do with and little TLC and the same with the changing rooms at swimming pool.
Both looking tired and a little run down .

Não gostou Looked forward to an evening meal on our last night.
When we reached the Bar and Grill, we were informed the only menu was pizzas , burgers and a child's menu. There was no chef.
Reluctantly we opted for a pepperoni pizza and fries.
It was tasty, but was over priced.
No dessert menu.
