Em va agradar Great small campsite for our first trip. The portaloos there were very clean & Embers pizza (over the road) was delicious. Would definitely go back :)

Em va agradar Exactly as I expected. Peaceful pop up site perfect for a stop over. No fuss, check in and out in our own time. Toilet and water available. Would use again when passing through.

Em va agradar Very cheap stop over with lovely views and a pretty walk to the beach.
Toilets are clean. It would be a huge bonus if they had sinks.

No em va agradar Photographs of the site make it look like a huge field. But it’s actually a crop field with just camping along the road side so you may be closer to there than you’d anticipated and you do get noise from the road.
There were other campers with off lead dogs which I didn’t appreciate and no owners around to ask about this (my dog was always on lead but wouldn’t settle as other dogs kept running past chasing balls so o had to keep her inside )

Em va agradar The space was lovely, the granddaughter loved seeing the farmer work his field and waving to the family, well we all enjoyed that bit 🤣. Portaloos were clean and loads of toilet paper! Board telling you where to go for the beach etc. Very peaceful, lovely area. Shame the pizza place wasnt open when we were there but i just see that as another reason to visit again. 😁

No em va agradar The road noise which they cant help. We are not used to it so it was probs more noticeable. It would not stop us from going again.

Em va agradar Spacious, grassy pitches - just rock up and pick a spot. Relaxing and peaceful, with sea views across the fields. Lovely walk through the woods down to Embleton Bay and across to Dunstanburgh Castle on the coastal path, or nice walk up to Low Newton the other way. 3 portaloos, all spotless when we were there with plenty of toilet paper and hand sanitiser. Pitches back onto the road, but it's not busy and there are trees so we weren't bothered by traffic noise.

No em va agradar Embers (amazing pizzas) was closed - if it's a dealbreaker for you, check it's open before booking a pitch!

Em va agradar Everything - rural yet very handy for Embleton village centre shops and pubs etc. The facilities are very clean and exactly as billed. Our second visit, great place to stay.

Em va agradar Great simple site with portaloo good for walks with the dog and a shop, cafe and wood fired pizza pls or across the road!

No em va agradar Adding WiFi would be fab but I understand that it is a pop up site so not expected.

Em va agradar Brilliant location opposite embers pizza emporium - top class wood fired pizzas cooked by George- possibly the best pizzas in the north east. 20 min walk to a beautiful beach through woods and fields. 3
Portaloos provided which were clean with plenty of paper, and a water tap at the edge of the field

No em va agradar Not much. Next to the road but not busy. Relatively expensive - there are similar sites around for less cash
