Ik was blij met Brilliant location opposite embers pizza emporium - top class wood fired pizzas cooked by George- possibly the best pizzas in the north east. 20 min walk to a beautiful beach through woods and fields. 3
Portaloos provided which were clean with plenty of paper, and a water tap at the edge of the field

Ik was niet blij met Not much. Next to the road but not busy. Relatively expensive - there are similar sites around for less cash

Ik was blij met Very nice stay would highly recommend.Porta loos clean only thing is if you wanted a longer stay shower facilities would make this possible.

Ik was blij met We loved our visit to this mysteriously named campsite. The facilities are basic but clean, and the lack of showers is reflected in the very reasonable cost. It is very well situated close to the beach and the village with the added bonus of a pizza pop up across the road.

Ik was blij met Location was lovely and easy to walk down to the beach. The level field for parking up and pitching. The portaloos were clean and lots of toilet paper.

Ik was blij met Peaceful site even when full up. Loved being able to walk to the beach and also to Ambleton farm shop in the mornings.

Ik was blij met Really good clean back to basics site. Clean & smell free Portaloos ( no sink in them tho)

Good walk down to the beach through a little section of forest & farmers fields. £10 a night is great and you can arrive or leave anytime you want which is a bonus! Pizza opposite is gorgeous

Ik was blij met Simple no frills site, the porta loos were very clean. Nice if you want a more off grid experience. A 10 minute walk down to the beach was lovely.
Wood fired pizzas were also served across the road which was nice to come back to in the evening, very nice. Would go back again.

Ik was blij met Wonderful campsite with spotlessly clean toilets. We spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Directions to the site were first-class, It's a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed coastal walks from the site to Low Newton by the Sea and to Craster (super kippers) via Dunstanburgh Castle. The pizzas from across the road are excellent and it was lovely having a glass of wine while they cooked. We didn't use the wifi.

Ik was blij met Very handy. Needed to stop and eat after travelling along way. Next door caravan and camping site was full and very expensive for a self contained campervan. Stopping for 1 night.
We love the spirit of adventure but increasingly. More and more signs requesting campers dont stay overnight.
In New Zealand as long as you had your own facilities and porta loo. This information was advertised with a specific sticker. Parking was not restricted.
