Anglers and adventurers, get ready, because Fendicks Fishery is a stunning Norfolk site with five well-stocked fishing lakes and a mature woodland, just half an hour’s drive from Thetford Forest. Out there, there’s plenty of adventuring to be done, with High Lodge and its Go Ape centre as a good starting point. There's a well-balanced atmosphere at this site, as the team have worked hard over the years to manage and landscape the grounds so that there’s a good combination of nature and fishing. Anglers have access to five lakes with a variety of fish up for grabs, including catfish (weighing in at over 95 lbs), carp, tench, silverfish and more. With 32 acres of mature woodland surrounding the lake, peaceful and scenic are two words that accurately Fendicks Fishery. Plus, there’s a splendid set-up in terms of facilities, with a toilet and shower block that’s kept toasty by underfloor heating, a washing-up area, washing machines, information room, Elsan points and the reception area. All the grassy pitches have access to electric hook-up (how handy). When you’re not unwinding around the acres of space around this well-kept site or spending an afternoon fishing, you could take off onto the miles of paths around Thetford Forest or head further out onto the Norfolk coast, which will take you around an hour’s drive or just over.

Em va agradar It was a great stay. Pub was good, great food and lots of it. Shame about the entertainment they had put on, due to the weather, ñot a lot of people come.

No em va agradar Lakes are very low, due to the weather, so I couldn't fish, as the water was to low for me to fish safely ,as I have a disability.

Em va agradar Fished for the weekend over the bank holiday. First time that we stayed, and would recommend. Friendly, toilets are clean and modern and the club house cater for all.

Em va agradar Great toilet facilities, always clean. Very friendly owners/team who would go out of their way to help. Lovely little bar and restaurant which had live music on the Saturday night. Cake stand there with some lovely cakes and fresh bread daily over bank holiday weekend. Son had an amazing time fishing.

Em va agradar love fendicks we went for the 1st time a few weeks ago and loved it so we returned this weekend . The fishing is great pitches are large and the site is well run and relaxed . From checking in to leaving the guys running it are great , special mention to tom sorting anything out to the ladies checking people in and the cleaners .
some people moaned about a bit of mud in the showers but it’s a field with mud and grass they can’t clean after every shower . They have squeegees to push the mud/grass down the plug after your shower but the cleaners cleaned 3-4 times a day anyway .

Em va agradar Everything about this site is fantastic! Perfectly well kept and tended to, incredibly welcoming owners and staff all round. Nothings to much of an ask here. We were a group of 27 adults & children, and were so well accommodated again. I’ve been coming here now for 4 years and will continue returning year after year.

Em va agradar We were pitched up right by the lake so even though it rained all weekend we were still able to fish the whole time and we were on a slope so no pooling under the tent. Food was great and toilet and shower facilities were great. Lots of friendly people. We will definitely be back. My other half caught quite a lot of carp

No em va agradar The only thing we found was that the pump for the lake goes on at 10pm and doesnt go off until around 7 in the morning and it was very loud and we didnt know so the first night it scared the life out of me 🤣

Caseta

Em va agradar Stayed in Buttercup lodge with my daughter and I for a little get away and we loved the site, the cabin and would highly recommend. It was the perfect balance of being in the middle of no where but having just enough on your door step. The on site facilities such as the bar and restaurant is a great touch. We didn’t fish but it was nice to walk around the site and lakes.

No em va agradar Only thing I can grumble at is the tv in the cabin wasn’t connecting to the internet so getting access to Netflix wasn’t possible but this is a minor thing and only mention as an FYI and still give 10/10

Head to High Lodge (half an hour’s drive) to kickstart your tour of Thetford Forest. There are all sorts of ways to become one with the forest, from hiring out a Segway, taking an archery lesson or finding your zen with forest yoga. Go Ape Thetford (half an hour) will require a little bravery and some acrobatic skills for its treetop courses and zipwires, but on the ground, there are three cycling trails and four footpaths to follow from High Lodge. If you’re looking to find some places where the kids are likely to be entertained, Banham Zoo (35 minutes) is one such place, as are Melsop Farm Park (35 minutes) and Church Farm Stow Bardolph (15 minutes), two farm parks with a variety of animals and farm-style activities. A day at the coast is also possible from this site… just pick your seafront of choice. Perhaps Hunstanton (55 minutes) and Cromer (an hour and 20 minutes) to the north, or Great Yarmouth (an hour and 10 minutes) to the east? Towards the coast is Bressingham Steam & Gardens (40 minutes), a nice choice to see working steam locomotives in the flesh.

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
Les parcel·les o els allotjaments s'assignaran en arribar al càmping.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.
