Fendick's Fishery

We had the best holiday here, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are spotless, always someone in the shower and toilet block cleaning them. The fishing was brilliant we all had the best time catching carp but the highlight for us was the catfish, my son got his PB on both his carp and catfish so had a bucket over him, biggest carp caught was 17lb and catfish 43.5lb we loved our stay that much we've already booked to come back in July. Thank you again for such a brilliant stay and we will see you all again soon 😊

The place is beautiful and it was very easy to settle in here. We were told we could choose where to set up our tent which was lovely to find our own area, it was nice and quiet and a relaxing experience. The toilets and showers were lovely and clean.

Showers/toilets were spotless with plenty of hot water and loo roll.
Site was well kept (no litter, grass cut and tidy)
Staff in bar very welcoming
Food was lovely and value for money
Fishing (Lake 1) was close to where our caravan was cited and was well stocked
Wifi was excellent for kids

Restaurant/Bar closed early on Bank Holiday which was a shame

Great set out and access to lakes. East payment for electric hook up. Cafe food good and lovely service all round. A few bits needing finishing off but overall a pretty good site. Excellent value for money

Pot washing station boiler out of action for 36 hours. People not leaving loos and showers clean. Inconsiderate people playing loud music till 3am. Should be somebody going round site as there is a quiet after 11pm rule. Nobody paid attention to that.

Totally relaxed on where you pitch your tent so choice is yours. Only a few restrictions. You can pitch near water if you want.Lovely surroundings. Clean. Toilets clean. Drinking water and chemical disposal easy to get to and use. Launderette. Lovely restaurant/takeaway and a bar on site. Lovely friendly horses to say hi to. A big field to play on. Easy access to explore surrounding area. Fishing lakes well kept and lots of peolpe of all ages enjoying fishing. The site is definitely safe for children.

Arrived at fendick's fishery, and went to reception,was greeted by owner and had choice of pitch, paid for electric while there,was told all about site,which was helpful. Was on lake 5 ,loads of room on pitches hook up,water and toilets/showers close bye.there was plenty of hot water for showers and washing up station,also cleaned at regular times.
There was lots of walks around site through the trees, and farm tracks, ideal for walking the dog.there was a football field for kids to run around.also onsite was a cafe/bar which had great menu and lots of different drinks to choose from.there was a band playing on Saturday night which was an added bonus.the staff on site were super friendly, nothing to much trouble,as were all of on site campers.

There are 5 fishing lakes here, we caught some great fish,all in great condition,carp,tench,roach,Rudd,and even some eels slippery things.
All round great campsite, nice and tidy everywhere,plenty of bins.
Would highly recommend this site, will definitely be returning.

Nothing to dislike.

The site is fantastic Lisa and her team can’t do enough for you , they are amazing . As for fishing it’s incredible the fish look well looked after and is a fisherman’s fish paradise. It’s our 3rd time this year and we love it. On site food is incredible too.

Highly recommend Fendicks fishery whether you’re camping , or staying in a cabin . Fishing is a must here .

There is nothing we don’t like.

The view, the location and staff were lovely, the maple pod was so peaceful
