喜欢 Pretty much everything, location, cleanliness, by the lake, walking distance to the town, close to the railway, lovely pitch and great friendly staff

不喜欢 Bit noisy at night with people playing music past 10 o’clock, this may seem early but when you’ve got a young baby who’s been woken up by the noise it’s not, the staff however checked this out but by 1030pm the music had stopped.
The other thing which wasn’t the best was teenagers flying around on their bicycles at full speed, I saw two infants nearly got run over being pulled back by their parents

Quiet time is from 10:30pm so I'm glad everything quietened down by then, there is always an emergency number on the front door of Reception if things carry on too late into the night, with the warden living on site, they are always on hand if needed.

喜欢 A beautiful campsite with on site shop fully stocked with essentials. The shower / toilet facilities were modern and spotless ! A great area for washing up. This site is surrounded with beautiful trees and the site is kept immaculate with gorgeous planting. Very pretty. Each pitch is of ample size, with fresh water tap and electric. Town is a short walk and lake is a stones throw away.

喜欢 Clean and tidy site, beautiful location, quiet yet close to facilities in Bala. Staff were very helpful

不喜欢 Our pitch was one of the few that didn’t get the evening sunshine.
As we booked late we had to pay for a full service pitch which we didn’t need. Not a cheap site.

喜欢 Very friendly staff, very helpful throughout our stay, campsite is very clean and modern and situated on a beautiful lake, will definitely be back in the near future to explore more of north wales

喜欢 Near the railway. Lovely clean toilet/shower blocks. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 Next to the main road into Bala, so was noisy at night and early in the morning. No space for children to play as pitches were very close together.

来自经理: Sorry to hear you wouldn't plan to return to Pen Y Bont nor recommend us to your friends, that is very disappointing. Our tent pitches are not next to the main road, but yes the site is located alongside a B-road which can be noisy during busy periods, but we do not hide this and do expect guests to have an awareness of where they are booking. There may not be a huge amount of space on site for the children to play but the location we are in is the perfect place for exploring and adventuring - we have the lake, river, waterfalls and local walks coming out of our ears to entertain old and young alike. There is also a children's play area 5 minutes' walk from the site if they need to blow off a bit of steam.

喜欢 Superb quality accommodation, clean, in good repair, great view from the tub. Very dog friendly. Great location away from the crowds of eryri but near enough to use as a base. Lots to in the area, walking distance of the Bala railway and Bala town. Highly recommend. Lovely staff too.

不喜欢 Overlooked by hut behind, but privacy achievable by keeping the kitchen blind closed. Lovely light hut so this worked well

喜欢 Absolutely lovely site, recently stayed end of July beginning of august, could t fault it lovely staff and such a relaxing stay in a lovely location. Will be back in the future.

喜欢 The site was spotlessly clean and the shower facilities were excellent, stocked with shampoo and conditioner and we never had to queue. There is a small, reasonably priced shop and fire pits to borrow for free. The site is a support walk to Bala lake and other hikes.

不喜欢 Nothing to do with the site itself but unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours who blasted music until 2am, openly smoked drugs and then put the music back on full blast every day at 7am meaning we had to leave a night early as we were too exhausted to enjoy the rest of the trip. There were others unhappy too, maybe there should be ways of reporting anti-social behaviour on site thought we didn’t enquire about this.
