喜欢 Position. Excellent for exploring.

不喜欢 Almost everything else. Butlins comes to mind. My pitch was near the toilet block so people simply walked all over the pitch. Toilets in the morning were filthy. I booked for two nights but only stayed one. Presence of police were a definite deterrent. Will not book again.

不喜欢 Pitches cramped in together, unisex toilets quite a let down. My young daughter couldn't go pee on her own. Long queues to the shower on the morning and big mess within

喜欢 The relaxed, family atmosphere of the site. Friendly staff. The proximity to the long distance cycle path. Good serviced pitches.

不喜欢 The unisex en-suite toilets, although modern, are impossible to keep clean, with shower spray and dust on shoes keeping the floors constantly dirty - it was a busy bank holiday weekend though!

喜欢 Thank you to this site. We had been in an unfortunate accident with our camper and needed to change our booking to a tent set up. No problems, changed with no hesitation. (Other sites on our trip had refused to help) Nice size camp, plenty of room to set up without being on top of your neighbours. Lovely walks available just on site with wooded paths, fields and wild life out there to see. We saw deers, foxes and plenty of rabbits (watership down comes to mind,) castle/pub resturant set a lovely scene too. Indoor/outdoor pool was used daily. Ensuite toilets were great.
Plenty of little hidden treasures to explore off site and within 10-20 minutes drive. Lovely beaches a drive away. Holy cairns, ruins all in driving distance.

不喜欢 Disappointed that the site offers fishing on their pond/lake but it's not set for fishing and would of damaged our gear. Full of reeds, lily pads and needs attention if anyone wants to fish. Reason we booked here was because of fishing facilities.

喜欢 Plenty of space for pitching a tent (of all sizes). I liked the fact you can park your vehicle next to your pitch. Food was excellent in Lairds Inn (make sure you book in advance). Although there is no ale on tap they do have it in bottles which is supplied from a local brewery, I thought it was very nice.
Loved seeing all the rabbits on site along with the two lovely swans that currently have seven (nearly fully grown) cygnets.

不喜欢 The main road can be very noisy especially if you are pitching a tent. There's a small cluster of trees in the centre of the field which may block out some of the noise.

不喜欢 That other campers don't clean the bathroom after use so they can get dirty and grimy

喜欢 Nice site but could do with a face lift everything is a bit run down and tired.

不喜欢 It stated on pitch up that fires weren’t allowed so we left our fire pit at home. Turns out they do allow fires.
Not much to do in the surrounding area to do.
Having to pay for each pool visit it’s expensive with several children wanting to go every day

喜欢 Yes stay was good had a lovely meal in the Lairds in plus a few drinks spoke to some lovely people

不喜欢 Cleanliness of shower/toilet block needs looked although there nice blocks certain people don’t clean after themselves this was our only complaint which lets it down toilets were full of grass and toilet paper on floors

喜欢 We loved the location. The park grounds are beautiful and well maintained .
The Laird Inn is good value and the staff were excellent.
This is a great park for young families, but also for dog owners as there is a large dog walk on site .
The Park was very busy during our visit so was quite noisy, however, by 11pm it was very peaceful and we had a good nights sleep .
We didn't use the wi-fi so can't rate it.
Overall good value for money .

不喜欢 I don't think the toilets and showers were cleaned once over the weekend so by Sunday morning they were filthy and no loo roll . I've seen cleaner portaloos at a music festival !
This wouldn't put us off visiting again, but it did let down an otherwise excellent Park .

喜欢 The location was perfect & having Lairds Inn onsite was a great addition for eating out.

不喜欢 The pool facilities could be going with a freshen up & shower block could be doing with a regular clean for personal hygiene.
