The Den and Orchard

喜欢 This campsite was in a great location for us heading down south. It was easy to get to, had great facilities which were spotless, and was really quiet during our stay (there were only a couple of other spots taken). We also really liked that each pitch had its own picnic bench.

喜欢 How neat and tidy and clean everything was! Toilets and showers spotless! Great self-check in system.
The park and games room was fab too. Really lovely relaxing site.

喜欢 The campsite was very clean in general and the toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities were also clean and well equipped. The campsite felt safe and peaceful although the road noise at night was quite loud. That didn’t bother us but may bother some people. I liked the self check-in as it made everything very slick although it was strange not to see or speak to any members of staff for our whole visit.

不喜欢 The lights didn’t work in 2 out of the 3 toilets/ washrooms for our whole trip but randomly came on briefly if someone went in one of the other toilets at the same time.

We were a little disappointed at the games room which only had a functioning table-football table as the table-tennis table had no balls so was unusable. There was also no pool table which was in the photos on the website (which we were looking forward to) and we could not get the games console to work.

喜欢 Lovely little accommodation on this campsite. It has a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar. We brought our own camping equipment for cooking but the hut has the basics for you to cook and wash up with. Bring your own bedding. The facilities were clean, hot showers, washing up facilities including liquid and tea towels ! The site was perfect for our 7 year old - playground with swings and monkey bars, a games room and a bar area open on some evenings for pool. The staff were very friendly.

喜欢 We really enjoyed our stay at the campsite. We liked the peaceful surroundings, clean facilities, friendly atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The site was well maintained and a great place to relax and spend time with family. We would definitely consider staying here again.

喜欢 Stayed for 2 nights and honestly its perfect for anyone who wants a quiet getaway even with the kids that does not mind a bit of road noise at night. Its a small site but a treasure , kids loved the games room and park area wich was not busy due to size of the site so a massive bonus. Pitch size was generous.
A massive credit to the staff for cleaning showers, bathroom, sink area and bins daily and they were lovely!

喜欢 Loved everything about it! The host was so friendly helpful and welcoming. It was only a short flying stay of one night, but it was so great that the loos and washing up areas were so clean. The small cabin we stayed in had everything needed. It seemed a lovely place for families.

喜欢 Great showers, good pitch for our XL tent, picnic bench provided. Very close to Longleat.

不喜欢 A-road is VERY loud. We live near an A-road and get some traffic noise in our garden but this was so loud it affected our sleep. It is a steep road so cars, lorries and motorbikes have to rev to get up it. Motorbikes woke us up throughout the night on all three nights of our stay. A shame as it is a lovely campsite.

Electricity went out on the last morning and I think it has blown the fuse on our electric hook-up extension as the trip switch now does not work and no power goes to the unit, which will be an added cost to fix or replace on top of our stay.

A great site for touring vans and the many cabins they have but too loud for camping.
