喜欢 Site was quite clean. Can see seaside from pitch but can't get to it straight. You have to walk around. On site pub was alright. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty spaces inside and outside.
不喜欢 Showers stay on for short period. You have to keep pressing. Water in shower set to temperature you can't adjust. After being all day in sun you get toasty shower.
People still being loud after 11pm.
Kids playing between cars and tents.

喜欢 Really enjoyed the location, directly opposite the beautiful Croyde beach. The indoor pool and flume were a highlight of the holiday, the lazy river is great fun. Everywhere was clean and tidy throughout the stay and the cleaning staff were always friendly.
不喜欢 There were several issues that did take the shine off the holiday and we wouldn't stay at Ruda again in the future. The camping pitches are packed in tighter than I've ever experienced at the many sites that we've previously visited. The pitches themselves are of a decent size but it is just row after row with very little gap in between resulting in you feeling quite closed in.
Although cleanliness of the toilet was never an issue, availability was. Just having the 1 toilet block for the very large number of pitches that they have available just isn't enough in peak weeks.
During the second half of our stay, the place went downhill quite substantially for campers due to the amount of big groups that were allowed to stay there. These are naturally louder in nature than most of the families that were already there. This wasn't an issue at first as they may have been louder but not excessively so and not particularly at unsociable hours when the many families had children in bed. This changed on our last night. We thought we might get issues when it was clear that 6 pitches in 2 rows of 3 were clearly all together in a big group. In the day, they were throwing eggs at each other and coating the ground outside our tent in raw egg. The night brought about the loudest and most unacceptable noise I've ever experienced camping. It started at 10:30 and just got progressively louder over the next hour or so to the extent that you would believe that there was a music festival going on just outside your tent. The worst and saddest part about it was that nobody from Ruda was anywhere to be seen to bring it back in to some sort of order and took somebody from another nearby tent to tell them how completely unacceptable it was. It did get turned off at this point which was a relief but I think that it is completely unacceptable that there is no night warden of any description to ensure that this sort of thing doesn't happen or for that matter that they don't believe 6 pitches being booked in a group would raise alarm bells.

不喜欢 Unfortunately the park itself is not so good. Playground very poor, swimming pool fully booked, food in the pub terrible, in the shop nothing, plus food corner wasn't prepared for so many people so we couldn't order any food.
