喜欢 The campsite itself was amazing, even through the rain. The Lady who hosted was amazing checking that we where ok and happy. We would definitely go back! Dogs where allowed to run around and play freely.

喜欢 This no frills back to basics camping is just what we wanted for a peaceful weekend away. The site is exactly as described with essential amenities in-keeping with the forest/wild camping feel. We had so much space to ourselves with almost too much choice of where to pitch up, with the toilet block only a short stroll away. The owner was very friendly in greeting us and she responded immediately when we had any issue such as a blocked toilet and excessively loud campers, regardless of the hour.

The toilet block was cleaned early on Sunday morning, at approximately 7am, specifically to ensure the facilities were clean and ready for guests before departure, as all guests leave the site on a Sunday.

Unfortunately, sometime after this, another guest appears to have emptied the contents of a portable toilet into our toilets. This blocked the system and left the facilities in an extremely unpleasant condition.

Sadly, nobody contacted us to let us know there was a problem. We were therefore completely unaware of the situation until after 11pm, once the final guests had left the site. As soon as it was discovered, the blockage was cleared within five minutes and the majority of the toilet block was immediately returned to use.

While we completely understand how unpleasant it must have been to encounter the facilities in that condition, this was an exceptional situation caused by the inconsiderate actions of another guest rather than a lack of cleaning or maintenance on our part.

Had we received a simple text, phone call or even a comment while you were on site, we could have dealt with it there and then, just as we did once we became aware of it. Unfortunately, we cannot rectify a problem that has not been brought to our attention.

喜欢 Lovely setting, friendly and relaxed owner. New forest just a stone's throw away.

不喜欢 Toilets not great but they are being knocked down and rebuilt for 2027 season!

不喜欢 If you look for upmarket bathroom set ups or don’t want to be near groups playing music and games this might not be for you.

喜欢 It was a great site to just relax at. Owner was lovely and accommodating.

不喜欢 Unfortunately, as mentioned on arrive the toilets and shower are on their last legs. Definitely needs to be refurbished

喜欢 A beautiful site with lovely wooded camping area and field for campervans.

Lovely area with nice walks.

不喜欢 A couple of large groups camping together were very noisy.
Only open at weekends - i would have loved to stay midweek.

不喜欢 Toilet / shower unit is appalling , floor in shower room has rotted away and if you step on the wrong area you will fall through the floor.

不喜欢 Toilets, - amount of people camping these were soon dirty shower - only had one and for the amount of people camping needed to be up at 6am to get a shower.
