What a splendid Lincolnshire location this is – with easy access to the pitches on tarmac roads, dog-friendly Riverview Caravan Park sits on the banks of the River Witham. You’re on holiday, so you’re justified in settling down by the water for lengthy periods with a book and/or picnic. Keep that view in sight by heading out for a waterside walk or launching your own paddleboard or kayak from the boat jetty too. Keen to go fishing? The site has a mile of fishing along the river, just 20 metres from the pitches – it’s good for tench, carp and bream. Keen to stay active? Lucky then that there’s a gym so you can fit in a good workout. Families can also amuse themselves at the playground and indoor pool (open during high season). If you are plane fans, RAF Conningsby and its World War II museum are 15 minutes’ drive away. Fighter jets and the occasional Lancaster fly overhead, so it can get a bit noisy (especially during the week), but regard it as your own personal air show and enjoy the sights. When it comes to food, the recently updated pub and restaurant has a beer garden overlooking the river. Every Friday night is happy hour between 5pm–7pm, and there are food offers on Saturday evenings as well as karaoke and bingo in the entertainment lounge. On Sundays, there’s a full carvery from 12pm until late. Local town Tattershall is less than 10 minutes away by car, and Lincoln city centre around 35 minutes.

喜欢 The manager we met was very professional and very polite,nothing was too much trouble,we arrived a little earlier and we asked if we could park car as we had arrived early and was going to go for a walk but the lovely lady looked to see if our pods were ready and they were,so we were able to unpack and then go for a walk.Upon walking into the pods they were immaculately clean,they are nice and cosy,we had a great sleep and a restful night,loved sitting by the river watching the wildlife at night absolutely stunning place so peaceful and relaxing,I highly recommend.
The toilets/shower were pristine and well stocked with loo roll,great bar 🍸 had a few barcardis the young man that was serving was very polite and professional 👍 we will definitely be back for longer than a night next time,thankyou for such a lovely stay🙂

喜欢 The new managers are both lovely, very friendly and helpful. I visited my mum and dad for an hour as they was here in their caravan but decided i wanted to stay, enquired about a pod but they was all fully booked, after 15 mins or so the managers came and found me and told me there was a cancellation, they was both so very kind. We had such a good time i ended up staying another night, had food at the pub which was all homemade and really good quality, the other families were extremely friendly, had such a laugh in the pub in the evenings, bingo and a karaoke was on. Even though theres children here its so quiet and peaceful, all the children are well behaved . I also love that its dog friendly. Booked again for 2 weeks time.

不喜欢 Pools very cold. Wifi isnt very good.

不喜欢 Some areas may do with a bit of TLC but the new owners say they are going to do this.The outside washing up area I feel would be better undercover but reckon this maybe in there plans?

喜欢 Been before and love the location with easy access to the river for paddling and swimming. New owners very responsive and keen to help everyone have a great stay. Great food from the Smokehouse. Great entertainment and friendly atmosphere in the ClubHouse - we will be back!

不喜欢 New owners have been left with a lot of maintenance to do on the site - wishing you both well with it all - you will soon have it up to your standards!

喜欢 New management were fantastic, so friendly and helpful,
Clear to see they are doing a great job with maintaining and updating the site,
We are at the buns on the run which is in the pub and wow food was insane! Great prices and the loaded fries were amazing! The pub had bingo and karaoke while we was there,
Although the pool is not heated it’s a great addition to the site we braved it every day and really woke us up, the park is great my daughter loved it

Overall a great site I stayed in the pod was ment to be 3 days booked for an extra 2! Great place for kids, family’s and even solo trip! Beautiful walks along the river and so close to tattershall for shops and food,

Have booked 2 more stayed here !

喜欢 Lovely site in beautiful surroundings.
Pitches were well laid out and level.
Owner very helpful and friendly.

不喜欢 Only two showers available (in ladies) of which one was out of order. The working one was only Luke warm at best. For the number of units and caravans this to my mind was not enough.

喜欢 New mangers taken over when we visited both full of enthusiasm and very hands on. The site is absolutely beautiful right next to river, lovely walking the dog along it. We brought our tourer we did not stay in pods. Food on site is bang on. Not sure about WiFi out aerial TV was working fine, no issues. Thank you Paula 😊 for making us feel really welcome.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike the bathroom facilities are fine, everything works which is a big plus for me. The swimming pool needs heating for some, me being me loved the cooler side but I don't think most people would.

Having viewed your own bit of the river, it’s likely that you’ll be enticed into getting out for a walk – especially when you learn that there are a couple of riverside pubs nearby. There’s more strolling to be done in Tattershall Lakes Country Park (five minutes’ drive), plus the chance of watery activity at Just Wake wakeboarding centre (10 minutes). Take off to Tattershall Castle (10 minutes’ drive) – a textbook version with a moat and 15th-century tower to potter around. Just outside town is Tattershall Farm Park (15 minutes), where egg collecting, sheep shearing and hanging out with hairy Highland cows are likely to meet with approval from youngsters (and probably their parents too…). A day out in Lincoln (35 minutes) must surely be on the list – it’s got a real slice of history, being home to one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time if you catch a film at Kinema in the Woods (15 minutes) too: the flicks have been running since 1922 and there’s still a resident organist to provide the tunes.
