Hathersage is most famous for its amazing outdoor swimming pool and a Friday evening swim as the sun sets and live music from the adjoining bandstand it a truly unique experience. We are approximately 4 miles from the start of the pennine way and in |January visitors can support the competitors in the montane spine race, the toughest event in the uk with competitors racing the 268 miles of the pennine way in mid winter conditions. closer to us in Hope our favourite Indian restaurant is Curry Cabin - is in the centre of Hope and is a 20 walk from us . they will also deliver a lavish takeaway direct to the site. For a more upmarket experience we recommend the Blind bull a newly restored 12th century inn which is just under 4 miles to the south, offers a quality dining experience and is featured in the Michelin guide.
