Tyckte om Small campsite with limited pitches, however pitch size was good. We had a Vango Icarus deluxe and an awning, we still had room on the pitch to sit outside in chairs. The pitch has its own bit for campfires which is a nice touch and the hosts sell wood. Remote location with beautiful views of the Welsh landscape. Facilities are really clean and modern, you can really tell that the owners have paid attention to the little details such as hair dryers, soap and ample loo roll in the toilets. They also supplied washing up equipment too which is very handy for last minute getaways. The owners take cleanliness of the environment and recycling seriously with separate bins for specific things. There is a lovely communal bar area and wooden seated area for campers to socialise.

Tyckte inte om There is no pitch size parking as it is a petite camp site and as such lugging heavy equipment up the little hill to the pitch can be tedious for shorter stays.

Tyckte om Peace and quiet at night, friendly hosts, a beautiful spot, everything you could hope for in a campsite. I appreciated that my request for a pitch away from other campers was met. And the single person discount was welcome too.

Tyckte om Beautiful location and exactly what we wanted. Quiet at night, a nice communal area and excellent facilities.

The kitchen could maybe do with a hob?

For the benefit of potential campers reading this, the bar is only closed on a Monday and Tuesday as we take these quieter days as our weekend. We are a husband and wife team with no other staff available to run the bar on those days.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle with free tea and coffee, fridge freezer, free mobile phone charging stations and large washing up sinks with hot water. There isn't space for a cooking hob but generally campers will bring their own stoves or BBQ's.

Tyckte om Everything. Small number of pitches in absolutely beautiful, quiet, secluded setting. Very high quality facilities, especially the loos and showers, great communal fire area near lovely little bar and very friendly staff. One of the best campsites I’ve ever visited and I’ve been to many. Very highly recommended.

Tyckte om Brilliant hosts and facilities (toilets, showers and kitchen are the best we've come across). It's a gorgeous relaxed friendly (owners and campers!) field of joy. You feel surrounded by nature and the night sky is as good as it gets - if you're thinking about it, go!

Tyckte om We had such a lovely stay and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived! The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to give us a tour of all the facilities before we pitched up, which was such a nice touch and really helped us settle in straight away.

One of the things we loved most was how approachable and welcoming all the staff were throughout our stay. It was lovely to see them joining campers in the communal area for a chat and taking the time to get to know everyone. It created such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and made the whole campsite feel really welcoming.

The facilities were excellent – genuinely some of the best we have used while camping. Everything was really well maintained, clean and clearly looked after with a lot of care. The communal areas were also a brilliant addition and gave the site a lovely social feel.

Another absolute highlight for us was the stargazing. On clear nights the sky was incredible, with so many stars visible it was genuinely breathtaking. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience just lying back and taking it all in. If you do stay here, we would highly recommend bringing a blanket or even a camp bed so you can lie outside comfortably and enjoy the night sky properly – it really is something special and not to be missed.

The whole campsite had a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere and felt very well organised without losing that personal touch. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making sure guests have a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A fantastic campsite with brilliant facilities, lovely surroundings, amazing stargazing opportunities, and, most importantly, an amazing team of friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tyckte om What a find! Great site with excellent facilities and a fabulous welcome from Bob in the horsebox bar . Well laid out constellation named pitches separated by wildflower meadow
In the middle
Of lush fields with views ups to the Black Mountains . Very quiet adult only site, lots of lovely touches .
