What customers say
Great for couples! Hosts Bob & Alex are legends. Spotless loos, showers, and a kitchen with all the bits. Love the horsebox bar and quiet vibe. Spacious sites with fire pits, though some are a bit sloped. Top value, highly recommend.

Fantastic facilities, friendly staff and such a warm, welcoming stay!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We had such a lovely stay and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived! The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to give us a tour of all the facilities before we pitched up, which was such a nice touch and really helped us settle in straight away.
One of the things we loved most was how approachable and welcoming all the staff were throughout our stay. It was lovely to see them joining campers in the communal area for a chat and taking the time to get to know everyone. It created such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and made the whole campsite feel really welcoming.
The facilities were excellent – genuinely some of the best we have used while camping. Everything was really well maintained, clean and clearly looked after with a lot of care. The communal areas were also a brilliant addition and gave the site a lovely social feel.
Another absolute highlight for us was the stargazing. On clear nights the sky was incredible, with so many stars visible it was genuinely breathtaking. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience just lying back and taking it all in. If you do stay here, we would highly recommend bringing a blanket or even a camp bed so you can lie outside comfortably and enjoy the night sky properly – it really is something special and not to be missed.
The whole campsite had a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere and felt very well organised without losing that personal touch. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making sure guests have a great stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A fantastic campsite with brilliant facilities, lovely surroundings, amazing stargazing opportunities, and, most importantly, an amazing team of friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stunning views, wonderful hosts and a campsite worth the wait!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We’d been dreaming of visiting Cosmos Camping for over two years, so when the opportunity came up for a last minute stay, we jumped at it. We certainly weren’t disappointed.
Communication before arrival was excellent and everything was so well signposted and organised that we needed very little assistance when we arrived. The owners were incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.
The site itself is beautiful. The views across the Black Mountain are fantastic during the day, but the night skies are something else entirely. There’s a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed the mix of guests from different countries, which somehow added even more character to the place.
The facilities were immaculate and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Unfortunately our stay was cut short, so we didn’t get the chance to properly sample the bar, but if the morning coffees were anything to go by, I’m sure we wouldn’t have been disappointed!
There’s plenty to explore nearby too. We really enjoyed the walk to the local river, weir and salmon run.
Our only disappointment was having to leave earlier than planned. After waiting over two years to visit, Cosmos absolutely lived up to our expectations. We’ll definitely be returning, hopefully very soon, and next time we intend to make full use of the kitchen and finally get that drink at the bar!

Liked Alex and Bob are very friendly and welcoming hosts, great location, clean well-kept facilities, and a cool mini-bar with more than reasonable prices. Lots to do in the area and Alex and Bob also gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit. Nothing to fault, we both loved our stay and will be coming back again.

A wonderful stay at a very special site
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We loved the peace and tranquility, the fact it was adults only, the bar, the very clean facilities, the hot shower, the very friendly and welcoming owners, the kites, the mountains, the short drive to a glacial mountain lake
Disliked There were lots of bugs at night so citronella and bug spray recommended for all campers!

Absolutely beautiful site. Alex and Bob…
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Absolutely beautiful site.
Alex and Bob are both so lovely and welcoming. The whole site has a homely feel whilst not being outdated or cloying. The facilities are modern and superb standard.
Price - very fair for what you get
Location - stunning and close to the Beacons. Not very close to any “big” shops (newsagents approx 10min drive away)
Facilities - 3x modern showers, toilets and sinks. Separate kitchenette with industrial sized sinks. Fridge/freezer and microwave accessible (fridge not the coldest due to campers opening and closing the fridge frequently but a MUCH appreciated addition in the heat!!). Communal fire pit. Lovely bar and refreshment in a converted horse box. Belfast sink located in the camping field with drinking water (closer than facilities so don’t have to walk too far for drinking water!)
Disliked Nothing!!
