Tyckte om Helpful friendly owners. Very dog friendly. Even has a proper dogwash point!
Spotless facilities.
Generous pitch.
Just a few minutes to Bude and all its amazing associated beaches.

Got nice message before our arrival that we are welcome on pitch number and receptionist wont be there on our arrival. Which we were okay with first.
Lots of water hoses outside of our pitch, didnt have to walk far for toilets/wash up area... They had loundry room. Clean toilets and showers. Borrow toys box was nice.

Tyckte inte om We found the holiday park very noisy from the busy road. Play park had only 4 swings (2 baby ones and 2 grown up ones) which our kids occupied for about 5minutes. Would be nice if there is something added so they can play for a bit longer.
We had message from receptionist she said if we have questions we can get in touch however would be nice if we get informations when reception will be opened or where we can find things like fridge in laundry room... we were missing instructions/map where is what in holiday park....
Water in shower was too hot - there is no cold mixer tap to make it cooler especially for kids. Showers very basic.

We appreciate your comments regarding the road noise, we have planted over 900 trees within the last 18 months to try and reduce this the best we can and we understand how this may have impacted your family's experience. Thank you also for your suggestions about the play park. We value feedback like this and will certainly take it into consideration as we look at ways to improve our facilities for families.

We're sorry that the information provided on arrival wasn't as clear as it could have been. Your comments about reception opening times, the location of facilities such as the laundry room, fridge, could all be found on the notice board just outside of reception.

We would appreciate some further clarification regarding your comment about the showers being basic, these showers have recently been installed and have only had positive comments so far.

Tyckte om Site was clean and tidy, people were lovely.

Tyckte inte om Lack of facilities, had to drive out daily for most things. Lack of dog walking areas unless you're able to walk up a massive hill before getting to a field! We went here because we have a very anxious labrador and it claims to be a 'dogs on leads at all times' site, whilst there were signs stating this sadly, it was a constant, repeated issue with many disrespectful dog owners not bothering to tether their pets.

We appreciate your comments regarding the site's facilities. As a peaceful countryside holiday park, our on-site amenities are more limited, and many guests choose to explore the surrounding area. However, we understand this may not have been what you were looking for.

We're also sorry to hear that the available dog walking areas weren't suitable for your needs. We understand how important it is to have convenient spaces to exercise your dog, particularly when they are anxious. As the name suggests we are based in a valley so some of our land is ultimately on a hillside, we try where possible to ensure there are suitable facilities for all.

We sincerely apologise that other guests did not adhere to our "dogs must be kept on leads at all times" policy. This is a rule we have in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests and their pets, and it's disappointing to hear that it wasn't consistently respected during your stay. We will remind our team to remain vigilant and reinforce this policy where necessary.
