Tyckte inte om Toilets were awful dont think they had been emptied for days , neighbours total arseholes couldn’t even play a bit of music on a beautiful summers evening , so wont ever return just awful couldn’t wait to leave !!!

Lots of nature near by
The owner was a really lovely gent
Everything as described, can’t fault it. Other campers were lovely too. Really nice atmosphere and will definitely be staying again
There’s a bus stop that will take you up and down the very big hill to and from Hebden bridge
Don’t turn left up the hill, go around or you will have to drive through a tight, uphill cobbled road

Tyckte om Great location, easy and no issues with check in or check out time. Lots of space and owner was lovely and helpful

Tyckte inte om Some people on the site were absolutely awful. The complete lack of awareness, consideration, and basic respect from a few guests on what’s meant to be a family-friendly campsite was unbelievable. They were blasting loud music with flashing lights until midnight (and likely would’ve carried on later if the owner hadn’t stepped in), shouting late into the night, then started karaoke at 9am the next morning. To make it worse, they were annoyed when the owner asked them to turn it down. The level of entitlement was staggering. Not the owners fault, but it ruined our night, maybe some stricter enforcements could be implemented but can’t give a bad score for the poor behaviour of others.

Tyckte om Beautiful location, views from your pitch are amazing. It's based on a farmers land surrounded by sheep in adjacent fields.
Drinking water tap available.
Bins to dispose of rubbish are behind the toilets
2 x compost/portaloos available on site, with handwashing and stocked with toilet roll regularly. The toilets weren't always the freshest but if each person left it as clean it would be better..
The farmer is regularly on site taking rubbish, checking the toilets etc.
He checks on his guests and takes the time to share his local knowledge of heptonstall (a very lovely guy)
Its a short walk into the historic town heptonstall, well worth a day exploring.
We will definitely come back

Tyckte om Fantastic location and views. Lovely and quiet.
Spacious pitches with good space between. Clean and tidy site.
Two portaloos which were clean and well equipped.
Lovely walks around and easy downward walk to Hebden Bridge. 2 pubs in village minutes away.
Definitely be back

Tyckte om Very spacious and quiet. Perfect spot to walk into the village and to hike in the area. You can walk on a variety of trails from the site. Helpful owner.

Tyckte om Location fab on the edge of a small village with excellent bus link to hebden bridge which is a fabulous Yorkshire town. Great walks from site.
Great 2 day stop. Loved how informal it was, proper camping !
Absolutely as advertised just a field with a porta loo and water pipe but the price and location makes this a stop we will definitely return to. If you want facilities then this is not for you.

Tyckte om Spacious well kept pitches and the owner was more than welcoming - even greeted us personally and gave us all the local information. Perfect spot for the villages and long walks around the area.

Tyckte om Nice level field with beautiful views. Antony is such a lovely chap. No facilities apart from a couple of portaloos but we're self contained so no need to use them.
If you're coming up from Hebden take the bottom fork so you don't go up through the very steep cobbled village street. We're pretty local and will definitely use again 💚
