What customers say
Good value, no-fuss site with great views & a helpful owner. Spacious, flat pitches for exploring on foot. Basic portaloos/tap, but most found it fine. Some noise & entry can be tricky.

Liked Relaxed. Simple. Easy going. Just our kind of camping. Lovely caravan / campervan pitches or field camping. We opted for the field as we have children and wanted to play music without bothering anyone. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The fertilities were very basic but this is reflected in the price and the location was beautiful with nice views and only a short walk to Heptonstall. We went for the Heptonstall festival and it was a lovely day out.

Liked A fantastic stay at Heptonstall Camping. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. Peaceful, secluded and surrounded by breathtaking Yorkshire countryside, it's an ideal base for exploring.
The location is second to none, with amazing walks right on your doorstep, including Hardcastle Crags, Lumb Falls, the beautiful village of Heptonstall and the iconic Brontë Bridge and Waterfall. Waking up to stunning views and ending the day under the stars made for an unforgettable weekend.
The site is simple, well-kept and exactly what camping should be—relaxed, friendly and immersed in nature. We'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the outdoors
