What customers say
A well-loved, basic campsite with great views & handy access to pubs, shops & Hebden Bridge transport. Owner's friendly, pitches flat & spacious, atmosphere peaceful. Some note few facilities, but there's a portable loo & water. Many enjoy the 'wild' feel & good value.

Excellent site, great views, peaceful
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet well managed site with beautiful views. Friendly and helpful owner. To note - when driving up Heptonstall Road from Hebden Bridge, ignore the sat nav telling you to take the left fork (it actually says no cars, access only) and carry straight on. This is a much easier route to the site in a camper. Site is then on your left just before the village. It has a sign on the wall saying "campsite"
Disliked Nothing. It is as described. Even better actually as a water pipe is now installed.

Excellent position with more facilities than expected.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitch, lovely walks straight from the site. Great welcome from the owner who told us all the local info. We weren’t expecting any facilities at all so we’re presently surprised to find porta loos, water and rubbish disposal facilities on site. Will definitely return.

Lovely site with level pitches
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitches with some great walking trails. Actually walked it to Hardcastle Crags. Hebden Bridge 20 mins walk away. Heptonstall village - so pretty, with 2 lovely pubs. Clean site, basic - portable toilet and a tap for water - was good enough for us. Plus a bin to dispose of rubbish. Friendly farmer. Will definitely stay here again.
Disliked Nothing - although we did get slightly lost. I would recommend not driving through the cobbled village - take the turn after!
