The Green Caravan Park

Tyckte om Lovely site with a lovely river running through it, lots of birds nesting in the trees great to sit back and watch. Owners were so welcoming and more than happy to change our pitch as we were a big motorhome and we were sticking out a bit . We moved to a superb pitch which was more suited for our size water and electric in pitch. Lots of picnic benches dotted around the river so you can sit and watch the wild life . All facilities were kept spotlessly clean and the site was quite busy so this was nice to see. Great pub at top of road virtually on site nice area to sit out and have a drink and we ate there food was home cooked and we both enjoyed.

Tyckte om Where to start…..The site is absolutely wonderful. Lovely spacious pitches and a wonderful welcome. Surrounded by trees, birds and a wonderful stream we instantly felt relaxed and at home. The facilities were spotless and the whole site is really well maintained and looked after. The Inn on the Green was a relay bonus when we didn’t want to cook (booking highly recommended) and the village shop had lots of lovely homemade pies/quiche and meats so well worth the support. We really did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back.

Tyckte om The Green Caravan Park is a place where the atmosphere is simply wonderful. It feels very natural, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery, making it perfect for relaxing away from everyday noise.

Everything is very clean and well maintained, which immediately makes a great impression. There is also plenty of nature around, which adds even more charm to the whole stay.

Overall, it leaves a really positive feeling. For me it’s a solid 10/10 — a fantastic place to relax and enjoy nature.

Tyckte om Wot a great say, booked in for two nights then end up saying for four night. Lots to do and see around the area. Lovely and clean facilities owners are so helpful with wot to see and do , thay will be seen if me again

Tyckte om The friendliest of welcomes, great facilities, a park and swings for the kids, a spacious and green pitch, and access to nearby pub and shop. We were lucky with the weather so the children and dog also enjoyed cooling off in the stream. Everything you need for a half term mini break!

Tyckte om I had a wonderful holiday at the caravan park. The atmosphere was fantastic. The kids were running around with smiles on their faces. We received a very warm welcome from a couple, Rachel and John. Even the dog found a place to run around. I never go back to the same place, but the caravan park was so pleasant that I'd gladly go back. Thank you so much ❤️❤️

Local pub just up the track with good prices for drinks (didn't try the food).

Well looked after site.

Reasonable check out time.

Tyckte inte om Poor water pressure in the showers, but they work and are free.

Woken up at 2am by loud conversations and kids running about (not the fault of the site I know; people suck).

Dog walk is just a track that goes nowhere.

Pub just up the hill has closed down as of the day before we arrived - still mentioned on website.

These are all minor criticisms and apart from the sweary children racing round on their ebikes and escooters looking for a fight (again not the fault of the site), we had a really nice time).
