Понравилось Tidy, friendly, pleasant site with modern facilities the lake was picturesque, and the cafe was excellent.

Не понравилось Only one gripe and it’s quite minor. The rustic wood toilet doors, although aesthetically really nice, were a little tricky to lock (I walked in on someone and found them tricky myself) and the uneven planks of their construction leaves gaps you can see in. My partner is fussy with toilets and did not like that at all.

Понравилось Lovely site, back to nature, not too busy, lovely cafe, you could wild swim in the lake which my partner did everyday

Понравилось Great location, amazing views, onsite cafe serving amongst other things great bacon sandwiches. Loved the lake too, and literally a ten minute walk to the pub.

Не понравилось Toilets not so private, gaps in the doors and the shower spray could be more direct, if am being picky

Понравилось Sarah was lovely. Made us feel very welcome. Views. Local pub was lovely the white horse in. But again very loud and busy but the food was brilliant.

Не понравилось Toilet set up. Not private at all. You felt very self conscious as all open underneath and on top so you literally might as well be in the same toilet with a stranger. Cold showers in the smaller block. The noise was horrendous the first night was ok then the second night was a huge gathering of people who had us up all night laughing and joking. No one told them to keep the noise down. All very close on the field so super noisy. We actually left a night early as we were so tired.

Понравилось Beautiful, well kept site. The lake was ideal for swimming and paddle boarding. There are two camping areas with the first field being the most popular. We chose the quieter second field which was perfect for us. Toilet and shower blocks were clean and plentiful. Water is heated with solar power, reducing the site’s carbon footprint. Sarah, who managers the site, was welcoming and managed the site perfectly. Great location and stunning scenery. Excellent for stargazing. We will definitely be back!

Понравилось Lovely position, fantastic lake, easy walk to fabulous pub, friendly with something on several nights a week. The purple turtle cafe is fabulous, pitch clearly marked, all round really good

Не понравилось Very minor, The showers challenging due to shower heads spraying away from the centre.

Понравилось Everything!! Check in was easy and welcoming, pitches big, no road noise at all and super dark at night to see the stars. Then the lake is lovely, it’s clear, clean and fresh so we had a great swim and Paddleboard. Don’t use the cafe so can’t give an opinion but it looked nice clean and tidy. Toilet clean and showers warm and clean. 100% spending some time here summer 2027

Понравилось Everything! From the check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Site is very clean, toilets and showers were far better than I expected. The cafe onsite was ideal and had great coffee & toasties! Just note opening times.

The Yak shack was a bonus, if anyone in your group wants to go on the lake but doesn’t have the equipment, it is all there and very easy to use - providing you have a smart phone of course.

Понравилось Excellent facilities, very helpful staff (Brad) showed us to our pitch and help with any questions we had.
Second time visiting the lake and great as always.

Понравилось the lake and sauna were amazing. great views from the camping field. hired a fire pit both nights. friendly and helpful owners. good dog walking field on site. toasted sandwiches in cafe were very tasty.

Не понравилось nothing in particular but there were 2 very large camping groups who were quite noisy from 0630 which was a bit annoying but no reflection on the campsite as will definitely go again.
