Anzio Heights

Gostou ​We had a brilliant time staying at Anzio Heights Campsite. The site itself is lovely and well maintained. The toilet and shower setup was spotlessly clean and very practical, and the washing-up facilities made camp chores quick and easy.
​What really set this place apart was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly helpful, personable, and friendly throughout our stay. They even went out of their way to help us sort out an issue with our leisure battery, which was a absolute lifesaver!

​You couldn't ask for better hosts or a nicer spot. We’ll definitely be back next time

Gostou Had a lovely weekend I would highly recommend the owners are lovely the campsite is worth the money I was happy cause it was nice to get the kids of there computers my son loved the donkeys/ feeding them carrots he is still asking to get a donkey 🤣 very clean and tidy there are 2 toilets/ showers on site there are lovely walks near by small park and paddling pool for the children to use on site

Gostou Excellent little campsite. We only stayed the one night but would have happily stayed longer if we had more time. A very relaxed little campsite, perfect for letting your kids play without worrying where they are and lots of space to run about. My daughter loved that the donkeys were in the field next to the campsite too.
I can’t rate the wifi as it isn’t something that I needed.

Gostou Absolutely amazing place, really good layout of pitches which are really big, lots of foliage to seperate pitches, great bathrooms , loved the donkeys who are happy to come over fir a stroke, owners really welcoming and friendly, just off a main road so easy to get to Leek town centre , lovely and peaceful during night time hours , will definitely be booking to stay again in the future, thank you ☺️

Gostou A lovely home like atmosphere, this is a small campsite with two portable bathrooms - very hygienic and clean. Three very friendly donkeys on site alongside an entertaining and enjoyable playground. Would definitely recommend for people with children.

Não gostou Please avoid barefoot as thistle and nettles on the ground.

Gostou It is a great site and perfect for kids, it is a safe space that you can let them go off and run.
The donkeys was lovely and there was donkey rides.
Also, the owners Diana and Louis are welcoming and friendly.
The pitches are level and was able to have a campfire as well.
Enjoyed it that much , i booked an extra night.

Não gostou The only thing I would say is to have separate toilets.

Gostou Nice little site,clean and tidy, ideal site for families with young children a nice play ground for them and you can meet the donkeys, toilets clean and tidy, an enjoyable stay

Gostou I never give a 10/10 score because I believe there is always room for improvement, but Anzio Heights is absolutely brilliant. It had everything we needed for our family and our tent box setup.

The owners are lovely, incredibly helpful, and have clearly worked so hard to make the site what it is today. The layout is superb; you can see the kids' play area from every single pitch, and the little swimming pool was a massive hit with the children.

The facilities are great, featuring clean toilets and lovely hot showers. Because it is a non-electric site, you get that authentic "wild camping" atmosphere but with all the essential comforts right around you. We had a superb stay and will definitely be back soon!
