Liked My kid absolutely loved the play area, I really loved the trees and listening to the birdsong, and my husband really rated the toilets! Love how chilled out it was, we will definitely be coming back :)
Disliked The campsite has quiet hours after 9pm but the pub down the road was pretty loud til at least past 11. Not the campsite owner’s fault at all and it will depend on your van’s level of soundproofing as to whether it bothers you or not, it didn’t wake my kid up so I didn’t mind.

Liked My girls are 5 and 7 and they rate this site 10 out of 10. It had everything they wanted and the right size for us, as I could see what they were doing at all times whether they were at the park or having a splash.

Liked what an amazing site. so much for the kids to do for a really cheap price compared to other local sites. we absolutely love it here and it'll be our new local go to. You even get hot water to wash the dishes 😲. absolutely fabulous place 👌🏼

Liked Booked on the day, arrived met with a lady who told us where we could park, very easy. Pleasant night, facilities perfect what we needed, had a walk round with our dogs, spent time petting the beautiful donkeys, would come back when passing area again, thankyou hope to see what you do in the future

Liked Wow. What a great spot. It’s got history, great views, a lovely play area, great facilities and run by an awesome couple. We felt very at home and will be returning.
Disliked Nothing! It might be worth noting that the site is a work in progress, so somethings are evolving, but it all added to the interest of this old army base.
