Banish any visions of a stressy holiday stuck in hot cars and slow traffic out of your head… At North Shore Holiday Centre, a family-friendly Lincolnshire site 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Skegness, you won’t have to travel far to stay busy once you arrive. North Shore is on the outskirts of Skegness, and there’s plenty of seaside resorty things to do within easy reach of the site: the sandy beach, pier and town centre are all within walking distance, and you’ll have to drive for less than 15 minutes to get to the museum, nature reserve, aquarium or theme park. There's tons to keep you busy on site too: perfect your end-game at the nine-hole pitch and putt, try out the arcade games, take the kids to the playground and go game-set-match on the tennis courts. Those with dogs should also be pleased to hear that the site has an enclosed dog area where they can be let off their leads. Feeling peckish? There are oodles of eateries within 25 minutes’ walk of North Shore, or you can settle in for a meal on site – call in to the fully-licensed bar-restaurant, then stick around for the evening’s entertainment.

Gostou Nice quiet site, toilets and showers very clean, site was very clean. The shop was handy nice pub

Não gostou No crazy golf, parks needed updating. Step in to toilets high and door hard to push open. And only one card given to get in to the toilet block. No plug points for hairdryers or electic razors in toilet blocks. No wear to seat to dry yourself after a shower

Gostou Had a fab time here.. was here for 3 nights .. a great little site with some great onsite facilities.. arcade.. restaurant.. day time & nighttime entertainment & stuff for the kids to do .. bonus being only a 25 min walk to the centre of Skeggy.. lovely sized pitches.. can’t wait to return here.

Gostou Excellent location to both shops bars and fair. Bus stop outside the park, great town centre with plenty of shops.

Não gostou Club house is a bit dated and the entertainment was just one guy that likes to sing old cabaret songs, not much else going on.
The male shower block the showers were freezing cold.

Kids will want to dive into the aquarium, the fairground and the brightly lit amusements of the pleasure pier, while grownups might have more appreciation for the Naturelands seal sanctuary or The Village, Church Farm open-air museum. Want something for everyone? The entire family should be entertained with trips to Fantasy Island theme park (in nearby Ingoldmells), the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway and the stock car and bangers racing at Skegness Raceway, all within 10 minutes of the site. When you want to take your adventuring beyond the bounds of the seaside town, you can find peace 15 minutes away from the thrill rides and squealing tyres with visits to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve or the flat Lincolnshire Wolds for cycling and walking trails, or by making a pitstop at the spectacular Gunby Hall and Gardens for a taste of splendour. For a quirkier outing, make your way a little further afield for a night at the Kinema in the Woods, believed to be the only full-time cinema in the UK still using rear projection for screenings.
