Sandford Holiday Park

Likte Good clean well maintained shower & toilet facilities. We were on an electric pitch these had a hedge on three sides giving shelter and privacy. There were a variety of food outlets and a well stocked shop for food. There is a large outdoor pool with lifeguards.

Likte ikke Touring pitch was what seemed like ash and dirt mixed together
Pitch was constantly in the shade due to the amount of trees around the pitch
People kept using the pitch as a short cut to get to the toilets which meant they walked along side our Touring caravan and kept looking in
Didn't see anyone cleaning the toilet block at anytime during the day
Should have been there for the week but lasted 24 hours before we decided to pack up and book on another site

Good cafe with reasonable prices

Toilets & showers not clean and two of women's toilets were broken
Oir pitch was awful, no grass or hedge as promised on website, just stoney ground. We asked to be moved closer to family but was told there were no spaces but there were several vacant plots.

Likte Best Camping we’ve ever been to,lots of activities for children.

Likte The facilities for the kids.

Likte ikke Poor management of the camping sites, we book a space for 7 people, when we arrived the neighbouring tents had been erected outside of their pitch limits which meant there was no way we were able to pitch the tent we needed. Luckily three of the party had to cancel and we had a small festival tent with us which we used in the tiny space.

Likte ikke Out door pool closed really hot day 80 plus no reason given probably say need x number of life guards,if so why not close indoor pool lots of shower blocks not all have hot water
