Likte Showers. Bar (the one evening it was open.)

Likte ikke I booked a grass pitch for a tent. The pitch had a flat area. But this area had been top dressed with chippings that you would usually see being used to resurface roads! To say this ruined my stay is an understatement. Moving about in my tent was most uncomfortable on my knees. Trying to sleep equally uncomfortable. Other grass pitches were also top dressed in this way. Finally this site is next to a somewhat noisy road.

We will always do our very best to help, whether that means finding an alternative pitch that you would prefer or looking at another solution to make your stay more comfortable. We are here to help, and we would have been very happy to discuss this with you during your stay.

Regarding the road noise, this is something we are aware of. We have recently planted a further 100 conifers to help reduce the impact, although being conveniently located close to the bypass does mean that some road noise is unfortunately unavoidable.

Likte Water point near, easy to use electric hook up, good showers, nice looking bat(didn't use), like the different benches, shelters on each pitch. Great walks and information from reception.

Likte ikke Unfortunately, road noise, but only during the day, a little challenging getting across the bypass. Maybe a little more lighting around the shower block, I know there are signs saying use a torch, but it would help a little.

Likte Lovely bar and food on site, food was good quality and reasonably priced. Toilets and showers were clean and well maintained.
Well situated for Sandringham.

Likte Wow , what a place . Loved the set up with the covered seating areaand piped music in the toilet shower . The staff also were amazing. Thank you we had a lovely break.

Likte We had a lovely stay at Pinecones. The toilets were very clean and the cleaner was always friendly and welcoming. The pitches are spacious, well maintained, and having water and electric right by the pitch was really convenient.
It’s also in a great central location for visiting King’s Lynn, Sandringham and Hunstanton, with some lovely walks around the village too.
A peaceful, well-kept site in a really handy location. We would happily stay again

Likte ikke The road noise didn’t really bother us, although a few more lights along the path to the toilets in the evening would be helpful. This is only a suggestion rather than a complaint.
The only thing that left a slightly bitter taste was our arrival. My husband was towing our large caravan with his van, so together it was quite a long and difficult combination to manoeuvre. While I went to collect the envelope with our instructions from the box by reception, he stopped briefly on the drive to wait for me.
A lady approached him and told him that he needed to move because he was blocking the entrance. At the time there was no traffic, and there appeared to be plenty of space for other vehicles to get around, so we felt the manner in which this was handled was unnecessary. She did not introduce herself or explain her role, so my husband assumed she was either an employee or perhaps the owner.
When I later asked whether I needed to speak to her, I received a rather unfriendly response and was told quite abruptly that if we had two vehicles, one would have to be parked away from the pitch. We later saw the same lady several times walking her dog past our caravan and believe we also saw her in reception.
It was only a small part of an otherwise very pleasant stay, but unfortunately the interaction made our arrival feel less welcoming than it could have been. A friendly introduction and a little understanding while guests are trying to manoeuvre a large caravan would have made a big difference.
